I agree because I can't tell which purple is supposed to be Pura's/Ngin's and which green is supposed to be Tiny's/Dingodile's

It's a bit rocky for me, I can occasionally get into a race, but sometimes it hangs at the starting line and it won't let me quit. I have to switch Airplane Mode on and off to get the race started.

I hope there is/will be a colour for Tawna, but the devs may think it not necessary because you won't need it (in theory) for nitro points if you have motorsport Tawna.

I may have worded that wrong, but if you put a TNT at a shortcut's beginning, you'll still make it, but you'll get blown up once complete it. If you put a nitro at a shortcut's beginning, you blow up right there and won't make the shortcut, and probably fall into a pit or something.

Tnt will either make you jump or explodes mid jump. Which if you jump it off will often mean you dont have enough reserves to keep sf or usf

Yes but there's a different skip now, though it's harder to do, you might need blue fire to get it. From what I recall (haven't tried it personally), you need to jump to the left from the first major bump, up onto the "landing area" of the jump leading into the section you'd skip into before

They kept it the same as the original, which was Naughty Dog’s fault. They should really rebalance them though.

I dominate on tracks like Cortex Castle, Tiny Arena, and Oxide Station with handling characters - they can be good if you know how to use them.Of course, if you're gud with speed characters it's a different story

I fairly regularly see this one guy online who mains handling and he's really damn good, easily one of the top 5 players I've seen online. The first time I saw him he destroyed me at Tiny Arena with Pura. You can definitely win with handling characters if you know what you're doing.

Yeah, turn characters can be pretty beastly if you actually know how to use them. It's the balanced class that's pretty useless at the moment. Good for beginners, but you ain't gonna win a lot of online matches with 'em.

In general the stat stereotypes seem to go like this:
>Speed
Big and fat characters
>Acceleration
Smart/nerdy/intelligent characters
>Turning
Small and cute characters, pets, animals
>Balanced
Main characters and whatever is left over (i.e. the ones that don't fit elsewhere)

This of course doesn't apply to everything (see for example Penta in speed) but it seems to be the general rule.

Who else doesn't give too much of a shit about the bonus nitro the trophy girls give? I used to play a lot of Ami but seeing races filled with the same karts/wheels/paints/characters gets shit after a while. Switched to Big Norm, got the kabuki skin and haven't looked back.

I don't like playing Ami but I wsnt to remain as far into that 5% as possible until the end of the month. I might be in the 1% now, but at anytime some sorta autist could find an exploit even worse than the turbo controllers and if that happens I would rather have a good standing and play garbage characters than play what I want and lose standing

Honestly they should just let you choose your own stat combo, make it not dependant on character and kart so we can keep the variety. I really love ripper roo and crash but it's just dumb not to pick a speed character if you want to win

They’re both fun games, so whatever you feel like is better. Lore isn’t exactly that important when it comes to Crash

You don't have to know anything beforehand at all, but the original trilogy is good so you'd be doing yourself a disfavor by skipping it

Choosing class doesn’t really help the fact that handling and balance kinda suck. If anything, classes need to be rebalanced

You won’t know the characters but it’s not like there’s much to know about them. They’re pretty shallow. You can just play this and pick characters you find endearing.

I don't expect an exploit but I do expect me running out of themed/pro challenges so my output drops significantly. I'm pretty comfortable now though, in top 1k.
They should fix the boost by having a 25% boost to a new character on any skin and old characters on new skins, rather than forcing to use the ugly costumes for new characters only for max profit.

You get 70 per 10 minutes, if you select the characters, skins and karts that give you a boost, and you can still do the nitro challenges each day when you're currently not auto farming.

7 Nitro a minute is pretty good if you can leave if afk all day.

In about 100 hours you’d max out Gold Tier without even doing a single challenge.

Can somebody explain this Non-functional online mode? I've been playing this game, since release, literally 24/7 and I don't think I've had one online fuck up? or unable to find games, what is happening?

I get a lot of matches where I'll get hit by invisible items or items that visibly went past my kart, people often times teleport around, I don't know if it's due to cheating or horrible lags, but I am connected via LAN cable, and so there shouldn't be any issues on my end.
Also, it's straight up just not a lot of fun, when first place is always some neckbear who comes in 30 second ahead of literally everybody else, it's not even a competition anymore, you're just trying to cross the finish line before the timer runs out. It's just an unfun mess all around, honestly.

Same user, I keep seeing people talk about how online is busted, but I've literally had one time online went down, and that's cus the servers went down for everybody. Every online game so far has been fine. All I do is play CTR, on repeat, nada problems. Except for getting angry as fuck at online, but that's different

The rightmost column here is the first place earnings for all the tracks, with slight decreases for 2nd, 3rd, and then 4th-8th
During your first half hour of gameplay online your winnings are multiplied by 5
If you play online during the weekend, your winnings are multiplied by 2

You get a x5 bonus for the first 30min of online play a day. I think you're only timed during the race, not when you're in lobby, aside from that placement and track length affect payout, without the x5 bonus I can get 80 coins from finishing first in electron avenue
