If you wanna bitch about steam's overbearing phishing protection, the thing to bitch about is filtering chat messages. Occasionally you'll get a "failed to send" message letting you know the url is blocked, but often times it will simply not send it to the other party without notifying you so you get no response from them and no idea why. It's happened with Yea Forums image links a number of times for me personally.
