When you make out something is real and it's not you're lying to your audience. Of course they're going to be disappointed. Like if you show someone a soap opera and they enjoy it and then show them a reality show and they enjoy it. They're a lot less likely to stay engaged with that reality show if you turn around and say it's scripted.

Seems like the only youtuber I still find funny is Jontron. Other than that, I just watch documentaries. Occaisionally Metokur streams too, but even he wears thin if the topic itself isn't good or funny.
