new movie was ok, didn't need to happen but that ending was such a low bar to finish on just handing over the badge and fucking off. no idea even if the carnival moves after maybe because they only showcased clips of them still there and likely they want to make a 5th for no reason

I liked the ending. Woody didn't really need to stick around anymore. At least he was reunited with Bo Peep.

And who wouldn't want to follow that thiccness?

I liked the ending due to the fact that it really stayed true to both of Woody's primary motivations; helping other toys and making children happy. Only thing I would have liked would have been a bit more focus on the farewell to his friends, especially Buzz.

I remember having to beat the construction level for my little brother every time he played it and it was SOUL.

i think that's also what annoyed me, jessie to do three things out of the movie (four if you include the credits clip), take over woody's roll as sherif, deflate the wheel and accept the badge. she had no say in the movie while obviously being a very important chararcter to bonnie. buzz at least got enough when he tries his best to take on the role as new leader but yes he also had barely any say as well

I remember marathoning the entire game with my lil bro over an entire day because I lacked the controller pack to save on N64. Good times.

Even though I liked it, the 4th movie added nothing to the overall saga and a 5th movie without a major character sounds terrible. Can Buzz really carry a whole movie?

You can get the PC version running in 1080p on Windows 10 fairly easily. The only thing that's unfixable is the Zurg fight which runs too fast and makes the fight really difficult (but possible)

the 5th movie would likely be about woody getting seperated from the bo at the carnival as they leave for the next location/forever or something, probably as another "you can't do this alone" kind of trope that woody must relearn because like hell they can come with another plot point at this time of the series life

Well, it felt to me like a nice closure for a certain character. But still, I think the ending of TS3 was enough. Though I do understand that TS4 ending opens up a variety of ideas for sequels, with two separate groups of toys able to have a completely different adventures now.

Also, I'd kill for TS2 game to have the same treatment as Crash, Spyro, Dan and, lately, that PS2 SpongeBob game. With modern camera controls shit'd be neat.

Pretty sure Woody's done, TS4 was practically his movie. I don't see him coming back for another "standalone" or reuniting with the old group unless they find an excuse for it even though that would destroy the farewell ending of this last movie.
