So, after some research, this is the guys dream game since childhood, and has gone through hell to get this game made.
He has a Kickstarter for a Steam version, which will have indie characters and a "workshop" to make your own characters and stages (AKA port the licensed characters into the game).
But he'll still work on the version in the OP, which will eventually be posted for free.
I hope that the unlikely happens and this gets funded, but seeing as the KS has 20 days left,

Then again, knowing the modern state of Yea Forums, they might not even give a fuck, they're not a personal army.
Besides, even if it doesn't reach the goal, he'll still make the game. The goal is for shit like living expenses and getting the rights to bigger indie characters.
But I will try to have Yea Forums help him out at least a little bit, we've all dreamed of a big gaming crossover like this at one time or another, wouldn't it be cool to actually see it happen?

Rayman not being in Ultimate is kinda sad considering Banjo getting in removed the one problem he had, which was that he's a western IP. On the plus side, there's literally nothing stopping him from getting into the next smash if it ever happens. If not, we always have project M modding.
