When someone is being depressed and down it makes you uncomfortable and you don't know how to help or what to say. Just being depressed and expecting everyone to comfort you isn't the way to go. In a similar situation. Friend came out as gay, just slowly stopped seeing him. Not really a conscious decision either, just sort of drifted apart, won't lie, it constantly was in the back of my mind. It just seems so.... unnatural? I don't know.
