Is CDPR ahead of everyone or is everyone behind CDPR?
>You gave out feedback forms to everyone who watched the demo. What kind of feedback are you looking for at this late stage?
>CD Projekt is a company that’s full of gamers: we’re making games but also playing them. So to that effect we’re listening to everything and if you have comments about the game’s audio, we will pass it on, and if you have comments about lighting, we’ll send them to lighting. We just want to make a top notch product. Very few people at CDPR are settling for ‘OK’ – we’re trying to do something exceptional here. In terms of feedback, we’ll listen to whatever you have – good or bad!
Damn I guess the game is never coming out then, because everything they have shown so far has been "okay" at best.
Owen Turner
Agreed.
Julian Lopez
i hope it goes beyond deus ex
Andrew Nguyen
too bad the actual gameplay will be shit. What was hopefully going to be an RPG will just be Fallout 4 tier shooter at best.
Kevin Peterson
I don't like the design of Night City. Looks like some chinese shithole, desu. Where is the cyber part?
Luis Phillips
>basic as fuck customization >cant join a single faction because muh story limitations >first person camera >no proper melee combat (presumably) ((cdpr have never made a good game in terms of combat so I guess this is really nitpicky))
I like the fact that I can play a big dick shemale, just hope I get to use that massive cock on some cute bois as well Other than that, it looks terribly generic, nothing here that really gets me in the "i wanna play that" mood, aside from the big dicks
Sebastian Wilson
I love this screenshot because you know damn well you won't be exploring 99% of the shit in this shot. Seems like we're settling for ok.
the gameplay they showed at e3 will be release same as last time
Gabriel Myers
In the downtown area. What they've shown so far where slums and industrial areas.
Jack Lee
>>a company that’s full of gamers that's a red flag these days too many companies trying to cash in on the "games from gamers - for gamers" marketing hoax
in reality it either means, it's a game only they would like or they are pretending to be gamers judging by the poor gameplay of witcher, it must be the latter, since nobody would unironically say they enjoyed that garbage gameplay
Samuel Diaz
Anor Londo was pretty sizeable bullshots aside, and if you're going by that screenshot, you explore pretty much everything aside from those houses to the right
Jackson Brown
yeah like witcher 3, oh wait
Lucas Young
>CD Projekt is a company that’s full of gamers This is what seperates them from other companies with nothing but codemonkeys and casuals.
Brandon Thomas
>over 10 million sales >over 200k reviews on steam while maintaining overwhelmingly positive tier stay cope faggot
Adam Kelly
Should I get this game on Steam or GOG when it launches?
Daniel Fisher
>comparing Emil’s writing to what we got in the Witcher series
You MUST be retarded to not see any differences
Samuel Rivera
it's gonna be downgraded console garbage just like Witcher 3 fool me once nibbas
Adrian Gomez
gog it's owned by cdpr so they get more profits, which they deserve
Jason Jones
sales are mostly a function of marketing, visuals and gameplay although gameplay has taken a huge dive for the last 10 or so year ultimately sales doesn't exactly tell much about the actual quality of the gameplay otherwise skyrim would be 3x as good as witcher
Jackson Green
>over 200k reviews on steam while maintaining overwhelmingly positive tier Then?
Jacob Morales
i got it on gog, pick on gog if you want to support cdpr more, but on steam its fine too
Levi Anderson
many things you are missing here most people that buy things inform themselves a litte about it before, so that will automatically make it more positive most people that buy things want to validate their purchase in their mind by looking at the good aspects most people that are dissatisfied won't bother complaining, especially not about some rather cheap consumer product, instead they will just move on most reviews on steam are overwhelmingly positive, except for games that made some major fuckups through patches or that blatantly lied in their trailers
so many things that ultimately skew the reviews
Connor Morris
im playing wither3 for he first time and it's good, combat is bad the setting is not to my taste and steering geralts lardass was bad at first but everything else is really good
>barely functional retard playing the third game in a trilogy first complains about the setting I'm assuming here but yea
Josiah Roberts
it's clearly a depressing wrpg medieval setting full of dirty crying starving peasants, im not talking about all the political lore, that seems good
Cooper Stewart
everything is the aesthetic meme with this game, all the time is the same fucking pictures with the same 'based' shilling comments beneath as if pretty pictures meant fuck shit at all, i really do hope this has good gameplay but i'm not holding my hopes up
I just wanted to demean and insult you based on your initial post Play the first two games first you actual moron (if you haven't already of course) W3 is unironically the worst in the series except for the part where you can shit on Yennefer
Liam Wilson
hell no im playing the best one first
Zachary Hill
So you're playing 1 right now? That's good then
Lucas Ortiz
I see this thrown around as an insult, and I have to ask what, exactly, do you mean by that? I can only assume you mean >It looks like GTA ok, why is that bad?
Ethan Morgan
he looks... generic
Jacob Baker
>ll the time is the same fucking pictures with the same 'based' shilling comments beneath as if pretty pictures meant fuck shit at all, well yeah, 90% of the criticism was "it looks like gta" or "it doesn't look cyberpunk" Clearly, how it looks matters a whole fucking lot to Yea Forums, while gameplay is a distant second.
Samuel Ross
no witcher 3 goty edition including witcher 3 blood and wine dlc
Jaxson Hill
>trannybot simulator just wait for those day 1 reviews
Juan Rogers
>implying you're gonna ever touch 1 or 2 after playing through 3 with the DLC literally conceived to end the franchise completely in a satisfying way I can never understand what goes on in the head of feeble minded peons like yourself, people who deprive themselves of multiple great games just so they can get up to speed with the most recent fads instead of just taking it slow and personal, sorry for your loss
Dylan Long
hey mr cdpr shill sir. pass it along the food chain that we want a better character creation, with real options instead of not a limited set of prebaked sliders, and choice between 1st and 3rd person.
Brayden Edwards
they're so full of shit and it seems like they didn't learn anything from the tw3 and gwent fiasco
Isaiah Harris
You have no idea what cyberpunk actually is
Ian Young
not an actual demo, just another 40 min gameplay video
Nathaniel Richardson
Are you actually suggesting Skyrim has good game play?
Jason Reyes
>ok, why is that bad? CDPR is a RPG developer making a RPG GTA is not an RPG
Noah Richardson
You should learn to read before replying to people on the internet.
Easton Rodriguez
but it could be
Benjamin Walker
>genre is determined by location yea, you're a fucking retard
Evan Price
>most ppl are npc bullshit explain to me all those games with shit reviews genius
Jeremiah Nguyen
based retard
Never you mind that this psudeo-LA city 50 years in a capitalist dystopian future looks severely underdeveloped to the point that you could mistake it for something more contemporary, if you plug your ears and ignore what everyone is saying then that means you win the argument!
Leo Perez
The city looks great tho.
Leo Miller
>CDPR is a RPG developer making a RPG >GTA is not an RPG listen you stupid faggot. that's not what you said. you said GTA is not an RPG. how is genre defined by location?
Carson Long
Why do the high-rises look so stumpy?
Cameron Barnes
RPG is a genre Saying something looks like GTA is just a comment about aesthetics you could have an RPG set in a GTA type urban setting
Jackson Jones
They’re most often being shown from the city limits but also the city isn’t that wide it seems
Nathaniel Perry
Aye, it'll probably feel better on the inside. Novigrad didn't look like much from the outside or a bird's-eye view but it felt plenty sizeable from the street level.
