Is this the best budget headset out there?

I'm an AKG

I've had a good experience with some AKG earbuds that have lasted several years now. That headset looks great but is also about 7x the price of the Corshit.

Buy some actual headphones and $12 desk mic
NIGGER

I don't really need a mic to begin with. Any recommendations?

Avoid buying Corsair products, those shits break like you have no idea.
Instead buy a real headset and a cheap mic.

For example that model comes with planned obsolescence, they are designed so they break after a bit of use here.
And guess what, this is not covered by warranty if you send them for repair.

Are there any entry level headphones of a higher quality that come to mind?

This is what they look like now if you think im lying.
They break and the metal part starts cutting so you cant use them anymore.
Mine broke after 2 months of daily use, both sides are currently broken.

Also the memory foam pads are extremely hot enough to make you take them off every now and then.
Sound quality is the same than the cheap UR20.

Just get something like MDR-7506.
Avoid "Gayming" headphones, every single brand out there comes with defects.

ATH-M40x have been the best headphone purchase I've ever made in my life, they've lasted years and years at this point. I used to buy garbage like G430s, ive had two pairs of those break in a little over a year.

For a mic I use a literal 5 dollar sony clip-on mic.

Prevent yourself from developing tinnitus, get open-back headphones.

I've seen the SHP9500 recommend quite a bit. Any good? They seem relatively cheap as well.

Yeah they are good.

Headsets are for virgin. The chad uses a standalone microphone and lets his speakers blast.

>MDR-7506
I loled

HyperX Cloud II here, I've had them for several years with no problems. As always, it's not about the brand but about the build quality. If you buy cheap shit you get bad quality regardless of brand.

>ATH-M40x
Good choice but a general warning about headphones with detachable cable. They might start falling out or have bad connection.
> 5 dollar sony clip-on mic
Why do you hate everyone who has to listen to you?

Thanks, appreciate the help. I'll look into them a bit more.

>Good choice but a general warning about headphones with detachable cable. They might start falling out or have bad connection.

My headphones often break at the lead, so being able to buy new leads for 5-15 bucks is a godsend. Hasn't broken yet.

>Why do you hate everyone who has to listen to you?
I'm very finnicky about making sure it sounds nice, everyone I've asked said it sounds okay if not a little too quiet. The only times its really bad is if the cord is resting on my leg and I bounce it up and down.

Most headphones are good rather of selecting which one is good its a matter of checking which one is bad.
If you start discussing which one is better between them you will get the classic audiophile "No my brand is better even when i cant tell but they are!" discussion.
Then the DAC and AMP discussion and you will end nowhere.

Just buy something that fits your budget and avoid gaming headsets.

No the fuck they don't

The only good products they make are cases.
Headphones? shit and expensive.
PSUs? Shitty rebrands.
RAM? Overpriced.
Keyboards? total shit.

K70 is a solid piece of hardware. From build quality to function.
