I've been in countless Switch threads, and seen tons of discourse about the thing elsewhere too. Nothing stands out as any different to the discussion any other console gets. There's some fanboys who are extreme, sure, but there are people like that for other platforms too.

Then again I've never understood the concept of "hating a fanbase" in the first place. Too general of a concept to group people into for me to harbor any meaningful distaste.
