This game doesn't get good until you leave Midgar
Incorrect.
Then it stands to reason that they want to make it and as a result the whole game enjoyable?
>Incorrect.
this, it's a mediocre game the whole way through, music is good though and the story good enough to keep you hooked
Found the contriarian. Feel cool yet?
Most people dislike FF7, liking it is the true contrarianism.
But this is wrong you faggotini
how do i correctly use materia
Insert it into the anus.
turn them into anal beads and use them on yuffie
I just beat this game for the first time. Combat is Shallow, the Materia system is a chore, the progression of the game is incredibly slow, and the level design is shitty. The minigames are fucking embarrassing. The control is uncomfortable on the dualshocks D pad and walking around isn't fun. The control changes every single fucking time you change camera angles and I never got used to it in my 35 hours playing the game. The only thing that had me coming back was the fact that I spent 50 bucks on a working PS1 copy, and that zi wanted to see it through to the end.
FF7 is a 5.7/10 game and nothing more.
play more games you ignorant fanboy, it's a caked up formula which became popular for other things different than the gameplay itself.
You are a contrarian.
Name some better RPGs on the PS1.
The game is good until you leave Midgar.
put green besides grey
put yellow and purple alone
put same number of reds on each member
>I spent 50 bucks on a working PS1 copy
You do know mod chipping is a thing, right?
Wrong it turns to shit around the end of disk 2 and beginning of disk 3...
Reds are honestly pretty useless if you know how to play the game.
Reds are good paired with elementals, but in a straight up fight I'd have to say Kujata and Knights of the Round are the most useful out of all of them. Besides that elementals take way too much MP and time to summon.
>Bear in mind that magic and summon (green/red) materia affect character stats. So strapping someone with a dozen summons will fuck their physical offense and defense.
>Abuse Enemy Skill.
>Abuse double and triple AP weapon growth gear.
>Buy any materia you don't have from shops when you reach new locations.
>Try to keep at least one offensive magic on each active party member in case you're stuck against a flying or long range enemy.
>The control changes every single fucking time you change camera angles and I never got used to it in my 35 hours playing the game.
Are you referring to the world map? Why are you changing angles so frequently?
Dilate
True.
