What does Gamefreak have against patches? Not only are they not patching in more pokemon they aren’t patching for any reason. For what purpose besides laziness

There is no reason besides laziness. Heck, the only reason GF does anything is because of laziness, that's their only purpose.

Because the energy they could apply to a content patch can be used for yet another full price game.

He means the concept of patching in general: i.e. if a bug arose later, and the company has a general "we don't want to patch" mentality, then they won't patch if a real issue comes up in their code that causes game errors.

So just pray there's no glitches, and of course if you're a pokefag you'll assume your masters and overlords can't make any mistakes so "gosh they don't need to patch anything."

if a game requires patching, then it can't be considered finished product and thus shouldn't be allowed to be sold.
