it's kino, can't wait for the switch game reveal

Worse than the original Paper Mario and TTYD

Bowser's Inside Story was absolute fucking peak. If I had to make a tier list from top to bottom:

Inside Story > Partners in Time > Dream Team > Superstar Saga > Paper Jam

Dream Team definitely felt very different and removed with the blurry artstyle (which I still dislike) and so I'm always inclined to put it below Superstar Saga, but looking back now, the game itself was pretty fantastic. Nothing will ever beat Inside Story though.

First was amazing.
Second was ok but the babies dragged it down and the bros moves weren't as good, but still ok.
Third was pretty good but felt too short and the special moves too dragged out
Every other game was mediocre because doing the same 3 minute special attacks over and over again gets incredibly boring (From you or the enemy).

I think the best way to sum it up is that they keep trying to make "Epic" attacks that look really cool, but it ends up making the combat a lot less fun game-play wise. One of the reasons why SSS is the best is simply because the bros attacks were quick so combat was a lot faster.

>partners in time above superstar saga

I love supper star saga and inside story. Childhood right there.

M&L has the best gameplay of the Mario RPGs, while Paper Mario has the better NPCs and story/dialog (not counting Sticker Star)

I've only played BIS and a bit of SS and I can confidently say it deserves the love it gets.

I have the opposite opinion. When I replay SSS the bros attacks in that game are so boring and unsatisfying to execute compared to the more unique and complex attack patterns of the newer games. literally just memorize the button presses and you'll do them 100% accurately every time.

Paper Jam and Dream Team by far had the most interesting bros attacks and enemy attack patterns. Nothing ever felt stale when it came to the gameplay loop of learning the tells and when/how to react.
