I logged hundreds of hours into Awakening because the characters and Gameplay were great. Should I bother playing fates to tide me over?

Blue Lions for my first run. I will do one of each team eventually probably. BL looks by far the most interesting run though, followed by GD.
Probably Dimitri since his punished version is the only decent looking guy in the whole game so far so I will just make that my one FeMu run.

Fates for me is way more fun than Awakening. They handed all the mechanics better in every way.
That being said the way they handled having the kids there is the dumbest shit ever. The kids are more balanced than Awakenings though and I enjoyed the eugenics more too.

The weirdest thing is that the game even recognizes what a stupid thing it is.

Siegbert isn't bad either. He does mention that Xander left a bunch of people there and writes to him a lot though so at least he tried somewhat. It is implied that some parents like Kaze and Arthur visited their kids frequently. Some, like Leo and Ryoma, never visited or interacted pretty much.
