is there any point in getting the DLCs? are they worth it?
Blood in the mud.
it's all pretty good
but like 9/10 of my deaths have been crimson court related
CC was a step in the right direction because it actually featured proper dungeon crawling with a persistent dungeon. But then they took two steps back with CoM update, when they just turned the game into a TB RPG combat system simulator, but without anything else. Here hoping DD2 will be an actual DRPG.
Crimson Court is all about pressure and it gets really tiresome to deal with after a while.
Many fall in the face of chaos but not this one.
Not today.
BACK TO THE PIT
What's the squad with the highest dps? I know bounty hunter with marking is borderline broken, but who else?
I don't really care for Crimson Court, while the extra content is cool and it adds more challenge, it also makes campaings feel far too long and grindy in already quite long and grindy game since CC content is very intrusive and alters the basic game experience in a way that constantly forces you to deal with the Crimson Court and it's bullshit whether you feel like it or not.
Color of Madness is meh, it's just pure combat in new location that just is there and can be ignored if you don't feel like doing it.
BEGONE FIEND
I want to say no, not on their own.
For Crimson Court... you should play it along with the base game or it's pointless since you have to grind out the days in between your town being plagued by mosquitoes which allow you to kill the mob that drops the invitation that let's you enter the crimson court.
For Colour Out of Space, it's a really barebones endless mode.
Neither of them are really full expansions more like supplementary content that's meant to be done alongside the base game content to add some variety.
Neither of them provide the base game type experience.
can someone post the DD infographic?
Im thinking of getting this game to play inbetween things, is it a game you play one long run of or multiple small runs of ?
I kind of want a Dungeons Of Dredmor experience, that was fun.
Graverobber does stupid damage with lunge. I had more success with a two graverobber team on the last crimson court boss than a two highwayman riposte team.
>two highwayman riposte
Why not double point blank
It's one long campaign.
>Get really into the game
>Finally ready to take on the darkest fungeon
>Struggle through and beat level 1
>WELL I HOPE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 12 OTHER LEVEL 6s
>wait what
>Entire rest of the game is a fucking grindfest as you attempt to raise 12-20 level 6s, depending on how much you're willing to savescum / use maps
I really hate how DD shits itself in the latter half. I'm all for super hard final challenges, but not when the punishment for failure is essentially having to redo the first half of the game again.
Do you have any incentive to replay it or ?
Like multiple difficulties ? or unlocked ng content ?
Most of them are small runs. Long dungeons are not really worth it.
There are multiple difficulties, but no unlocks. You got whole arsenal avaidable from the start, but recruitable heroes and their combinations of skills are always given you randomly.

What difficulty do I play this on for my first play through?
Play radiant. The combat difficulty is the same, but it makes the game a little less grindy.
Middle one forget what it's called, last one time based and almost impossible unless you understand the mechanics to a T, and the easy bab mode is too dumbed down. One you understand the mechanics it suddenly becomes way too easy, even the medium difficulty becomes pretty easy. If you don't want to become the number 1 reserve of salt, I would suggest looking at a guide for certain things, otherwise the grind in this game will be that much harder with how many guys you will lose.
Darkest, you absolute casual.
Played darkest and all the numbers feel fine, crimson court adds stupid amounts of difficulty though so consider not playing with it if you're a turbo casual
ready for more darkest dungeon Yea Forums?

I literally skipped to one part where it did the animation for a soldier shooting an enemy and I was already hyped. I really hope this style of game doesn't get saturated.
I WANT TO FUCK THE PLAGUE DOCTOR
Imagine the smell.
Probably smell like blight.
>DLC that changes pacing and makes me interact with it is bad
>DLC that is optional and skippable is bad
Retards like you is why I feel no remorse or regret by avoiding taxes.
fuck you I still get my check in the mail bitch
You can set "never again" as permissive from game options, meaning that heroes can e-enter Darkest Dungeon, though they suffer extra stress for doing so. Sure, it does not completely eliminate roblems with late game.
The best game I didn't finish. Glad to have been there to share in the memes.
I would not have that much of an issue with CC if it wasn't so time consuming that it ultimately is just a hinderance in the way of advancing the actual game.
