emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/ROM_&_ISO_Sites

i know a great old site, literally everything up through the playstation, all for the taking, no strings. that's quite special at this point. i have no idea how it hasn't been cracked down on like everything else considering how extensive and open it is but i'm not about to spill it. not that it's a secret or anything

there

Daily reminder that all the "shut down" ROM sites are still operating and everything is still accessible if you're not pants on head retarded.

Literally there, too bad you don't know how to access all the roms though. Because they're all still there.

archive.org?

sure you do

From external drives i started archiving 15 years ago.

Russians have everything.

I hooked up my ps2 yesterday and was looking to download some games for it just to find out that The Iso zone has been closed down. I found a new website, but holy shit that really infuriated me because I also got a lot of my OG xbox games there too.
Fuck you Nintendo.

Attached: 1af.jpg (800x450, 181K)

IsoZone, back in the days.
Now I just download full sets on torrents.

gamecube though?

>tfw I was emailing Nintendo customer service and tweeting Reggie about all the sites I knew about that hosted these
Feels great that I help put an end piratefaggotry. If what this user says is true then I'll be sure and help them locate it, although they've probably already found it and are just having to wait before they can take action. These things can take time and there's always loopholes sites try to exploit but they'll get them eventually.

>euro ps1 has the biggest library (at least going by file size)
I'm kind of surprised. would have guessed JP.

i sure you do you dumb faggot
you can literally find it with shit people have spoonfed you already

Sure, I believe you.

Um, let me in on this secret method?

Probably because some are translated to more languages. Back in those days you'd had different game for different country in different languages, instead of just one that let's you pick the language in which you want to play.

it should be easier than this gambit, user

sure thing

It's probably all the multi language support

>retard thinks piracy is gonna stop just because some every level rom sites got shut down
I can still find Nintendo games on Bing, not to mentions there are torrents out there with entire libraries.

the trick is in one the the links posted in this thread

>not having the OTHER updated extension after the other one was bricked.

You must not like ROMs that much to care.

go find it fag. it even has gamecube and wii shit, though it's rather slow at that level.

ofc it has

cope

The DL speeds are slow as shit though

widdle baby already has it on a spoon and he won't lean in to take it

With?

how the fuck do you not have everything from amiga to ps2 downloaded by now. all the games have been on the internet for 20 years.

Kys

i saw this on an old emulation thread we had
vimm.net/?p=vault

i havent really used it because my current emulation machine has way to download games straight into my vita

true, but it still gets there if you just plan ahead and leave it

Really, retard?

Dilate

Retarded nigger keeps getting baited and won't stop bumping the thread.
I already have every rom and iso I want. :^)

What?

we're all retarded niggers bumping threads

I ended up deleting most of my ps2 games because I was running out of space on my external and through that I probably wouldn't be needing them... I ended up needing them, and now currently redownload some ps2 games. Looking into buying a dreamcast, so might need to download the lot for those games too.

I just downloaded Baldur's Gate DA on ps2 because I never tried it out. Who thought no type of lock-on targeting was a good idea?

vimm's lair

It's a secret to everybody

romhustler

Besides upgrading my pc, what are some ways to increase performance in certain games? Some run perfectly and others stutter a lot. On Dolphin, btw. Gamecube games.

GGn

i'll pm you the link

emuparadise

Emulating is usually cpu bound. Just google some of your specs and likely someone out there has their own recommended configs for that setup.

Tranny nigger

huh?

How? That's fucking beautiful.

Attached: 1447381615316.gif (309x288, 4K)

Emuparadise has been failing me a lot lately. Like I tried to get Aria of Sorrow and it didn't have it.

i know its retroarch, but how do you make it look pretty like that

>i know its retroarch
yeah? weird, because it's not.

what? I just checked and it's there

are you sure it isn't retroarch ?

I like knowing Yea Forums is full of incompetent console gamers that can't even Google how to still use Emuparadise.

You chose this fate, now sleep with it.

It's some kind of an emulation frontend, like HyperSpin.

I just duckduckgo search. Can usually tell pretty quickly if a site is bullshit or not and file sizes are often a dead giveaway if something is legit or not.

It's EmulationStation.

youtu.be/AVQVmsFOclM

>be a MAMEfag
>new version comes out
>romsets are updated every time a better dump is found
>have to search for an upgrade zip from a specific build number to play the same game

Attached: 1446344436517.jpg (424x370, 21K)

Try again and actually follow through and try to download it. it says it's unavailable

>never upgrade

Problem solved. Fuck updating and jumping through hoops each time, when everything works just fine.

That is the MAME way.

>install it
>get it set up
>load game
>flashes and goes back to menu without loading game

Attached: 1521448663829.jpg (500x600, 63K)

I create my own roms from my game collection

Attached: FYvmeBK0_400x400.jpg (400x400, 21K)

google

Where do you guys get your PC Abandonware?

>get it set up
You did wrong. What emulator? What's the path to the emulator.exe and the path to the rom?

I uninstalled and am gonna try installing to a different directory. If that doesn't work I'll ask for help

wow fuck you nigga

Ok. I'll stick around for a bit.

I just order cheap ass second hand physical copies of shit since I play 95% of my games in Japanese anymore.

For some reason, the prices of used Japanese PS2/GC titles are remarkably low compared to what happens to similar titles in the US.

that's interesting because I just tried and it works absolutely fine

Nice try, nintendo!

Based!

I already have all the roms I want and don't need any more. RIP Emuparadise, you were a good friend.

How do I access emuparadise files?

Google if it's retro stuff. For newer stuff I usually torrent, or in the switch's case discord

github.com/Flerp/RetroCake

I installed this, run the auto setup, set up the controller, roms show up, click rom, fades out, cmd flashes really quick then it swaps back to the rom menu

what the fuck did I mess up

I dump them from my own carts. It's not even expensive or hard to do, depending on the console.

anyone know where I can grab animal crossing e+? very rare rom

I haven't used RetroCake yet. Same questions as before though. What emulator and what are the full paths to the emulator.exe and rom folder? You can replace your user name for the purpose of posting.

im assuming the inane faggot refusing to help you is talking about the-eye.eu, hope that helps user. best of luck

Hm , I tried running the retroarch exe by itself and it seems like it's an issue with that, since it's just closing after loading a game.

you can literally copypaste your post in google and find your answer

Fuck around with the settings. Some of them have literally zero impact on the look of the game but make it run 3x better.

Have you used retroarch before? You need to download and load a suitable core for a platform to work. Without a core loaded retroarch can't emulate shit and any frontend can't do nothing about it. Make sure your emulator works first.

Also, retroarch is a bad first choice. Maybe don't start by adding a frontend on top of another frontend. Although it is possible and I do it myself - for some reason...

Weird, I thought the retropie installer installed the cores for me(considering it literally said downloading cores), but I went and did it manually, and N64 games work now. No luck on gba though.

>download MAME 0.211 romset from pleasuredome
>plan to never update it again
>turns out it's the exact one version where they broke Densha De Go games and I need to upgrade to 0.212

homebrew gang

>pay for used games
yikes, oof

RetroArch should be simple enough to figure out really.

Pic related though shows how to make EmulationStation directly launch a GBA game with retorarch using the sameboy emulator core. This goes into es_systems.cfg

Attached: example.png (1500x209, 16K)

Of course you need to alter the paths and if the contain ANY spaces you need to put them in quotes like this "C:\My Games\Emulation\" but not if it is C:\MyGames\Emulation.

The commands necessary vary per emulator but I haven't found a single one that doesn't work through CLI yet.

Oops, that's the Game Boy Color. Sorry. Just use download mgba_libretro.dll and change paths and command accordingly.

I thought you were the good guys Yea Forums...

Ha ha, that's great and all, but do you guys happen to know where to get some nice and sweet PC Abandonware?

Attached: Alex Krychek.png (656x300, 151K)

cdromance

Good thing I’m always seeding the entire game boy, nes and snes library then faggot.

I want this but don't want to do any of the work needed to set it up.

>being this much of a corporate cocksucker
Your mind on Nintendo

emuparadise.me with the workaround script

>tweeting reggie
he doesn't work at nintendo anymore

Emuparadise

The sad part is there are people who genuinely are like this instead of mere shitposting...
