Steam Summer Sale Thread

Any good ARPGs on steam that aren't Grim Dawn or PoE? Was considering Titan Quest or Last Epoch (sadly not on sale) but I'm unsure how good they are in comparison to the others I mentioned.
What are some other hidden gems to look into that are under $10-$5?
Also post carts, make recs, etc.

They're very fun, Turok 1 is more linear, 2 is more exploration based, but they both have nice meaty weapons and a unique atmosphere to them.
I like 1 better, but I'm also 100% in the minority with that opinion.
Also Dusk and Amid Evil are good classicish fps titles if you want more like that.

store.steampowered.com/app/224820/Super_House_of_Dead_Ninjas/

Also couldn't fit in the list but great game at a great price

Kind of cryptic games (especially the first game and some of the objectives in the second) albeit they're very quality FPSes in terms of enemies and animations and weaponry

y/n?

Attached: Steam_2019-07-08_01-36-45.png (637x404, 61K)

Give me good games that can be played using only the keyboard.

Pick 2 out of 3 of these.

Attached: Capture.png (938x350, 132K)

Okami for sure. Take your pick on the other one

Okami and Messenger, Wonder Boy looks good but plays like shit

Before pulling the trigger on your cart, check my pastebin. I have keys for games I've seen a lot of people looking to buy; I've traded with several anons in the past few days, and even though it won't due any good to have any of them vouch on Yea Forums, they've all left comments showing that I'm not a scammer. So if there's something here you want to trade for, let me know.

Some highlights/things I've seen a lot of anons considering buying that I've got: Civ VI, Stellaris, Dark Souls III, Cities Skylines, Surviving Mars.

keys pastebin.com/vSz4C2hj

steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

Not Okami, it's boring as sin and too long for its own good.

Question: if you buy something now, will you still get a token for every cent spent?
I already bought everything I wanted, but I'm thinking about buying one more thing to bump my coins up enough to get the discount.

JRPG recommendations please!

Attached: 1557459888661.png (750x953, 807K)

Which of these should I buy or avoid?

>Tales of Vesperia/Berseria
>Shadowrun Hong Kong
>Into the Breach
>Sekiro
>Soma
>My Friend Pedro
>Dead Cells
>Vermintide 2

AoE2 is fantastic, so yes for sure. I've never played KoF, but I've heard nothing but good things.
If you like Diablo 2, you'll like Titan Quest.

Got the 5 dollar voucher before realizing I didn't have anything I wanted to use it on. Any 5 dollar games worth buying?

>one of the most fun party games ever
>also getting a single player campaign
>no one ever talks about it
It's $5 right now, seriously consider getting it if it looks fun to you.

Attached: I am not a Monster.jpg (500x713, 110K)

See:

Already own the games on there I enjoy.

name us some games you like so we can recommend similar things

Here is my last purchase:
>Witcher 1, 2, 3
>Burger Shop 1 and 2 (WHY THE FUCK DID NO ONE TELL ME THEY HAD THIS SHIT!? Shame Chocolatier isn't on sale)
>Manhunt
>Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission
Currently playing SDBHWM and holy fuck is this thing fun. It's so simple, but so good. I only hate two things about it, no dub (not a problem, but I love options) and I sold my arcade stick before playing this. I really feel this shit would be even better with a stick for an immersive arcade feel, the UI and gameplay sure feel like it. Overall I'm happy with the sale. Currently ending my profile journey on level 73.

Attached: Based.jpg (400x400, 27K)

these all good?

Attached: steamsale.jpg (382x242, 11K)

Yakuza, Recettear (Hate anime but love running a business), Mafia 1/2,

Right now considering either Batman Arkham City since I played Asylum almost a decade ago (Enjoyed it, but never played the sequels) or Psychonauts VR, since I bought a headset. Also open to decent VR fap bait.

all i've bought is sniper 4 and nu doom. pretty weak sale, imo

Drop rebirth unless you're willing to shell out for Afterbirth/+
Baba is amazing and a must play for puzzle lovers

How much content does TQ have, should I grab the expansions too?

worth it?

Attached: steam sale.png (608x58, 15K)

Any of these worth the price of admission?

Attached: Screenshot_2.png (940x910, 539K)

this sale was so dissapointing i didn't buy anything
i bought crash and mario maker instead

For its current price, yes

Give me fun online co-op games. Any genre.

I enjoyed the game, but would wait for it to drop to 5 dollars. It's clearly unfinished, but definitely had potential.

which ones do you need for mod support, afterbirth or +?

Plus. But if you have just AB you can also get Antibirth (best mod) but it'll be officially integrated into the game as DLC eventually.

id buy danganronpa for 8 bucks
tales of vesperia is a good game too

Absolutely.

I'm assuming you have a friend who will also buy a copy

Super Cyborg
Nation Red
Splinter Cell Conviction
Dead Rising 2 and DR2 Off The Record

If you don't have friends:

Payday 2, Killing Floor 2

>FFXII
yes
>Vesperia
yes
>Dangan
double yes
>XIV
get the expansions not from steam because it will fuck with any promotion not from steam
>Into the Breach
yes

Attached: 14375405.42_d.png (454x766, 344K)

thanks i might just get the complete bundle and baba is you

Guys I’m dying and the doctor said the only cure is to post steam keys

Melty blood on steam worth it or is it dead ?

Does co-op for Resident Evil 5 still work or did it die when GfWL died?

It uses Steam now

ok user, start posting then

>Viking Conquest for Warband
>Expeditions Vikings
>Banner Saga bundle
>For Honor
which is the best viking game

Thanks to the user that recommended me fatal bullet. It's pretty fun.

Anyone?

Oh nice. Any of the other RE games worth doing co-op in?

Yeah you still get tokens, I bought my last batch of games a few hours ago.

Pretty sure it's just RE5 and 6 for any worthwhile co-op content.

>6
Dont do it though. It's horrible.

What are some good pick up and play casual games like FTL, Slay the Spire, or Rogue Legacy to a lesser extent.

Attached: buff puff.jpg (600x600, 63K)

Well Yea Forums? What should I play?

Attached: backlog.png (536x1241, 188K)

I can only afford one right now, which one unless one of you have a better recommendation

Attached: games.png (820x668, 444K)

Okami and Messenger.

Yes to AoE2, NO to any KoF. KoF is one of the shittiest franchises around.

any good 3rd person platformers?
heard mixed things about a hat in time

Vesperia, Berseria, Symphonia, Octopath, all of the Nep series.

Buy Sekrio, Vesperia, Pedro, and Dead Cells, but only if you can stomach a retarded difficulty spike in Dead Cells past the first run. The dev's are complete mongs and won't smooth out the difficulty, either. It jumps from reasonable to retarded, and only gets worse the higher up you go, in unfair and bullshit ways.

Just use traps, like any reasonable person

how is Dark Souls 3 for someone who only played bloodBorne ?

Attached: 1489536759221.jpg (440x620, 83K)

River City Ransom: Underground.

Dump 12 and 14. One's a single player game that plays like an MMO, the other is a pay to play MMO. Fuck that shit in this day and age, it's just as generic as any other MMO. The rest are good.

>did the race everyday
>even put my big boy purchased points in
>didnt get anything
>team didnt even make the podium

alright good event

Attached: 1458995359902.jpg (869x943, 231K)

Is Void Bastards any good?

Whichever installs first, obviously.

It's basically a ripoff of Bloodborne ideas inserted into the Dark Souls world, so go for it.

It's pretty fun yes.

>harefags thought they could beat tortoise

Sale it's almost over, where are richanons, bros...

I got the Danganronpa series, except for the offshoot one, Ultra Despair Girls

Anyone played that one? would you recommend it if so?

ESA was fucking addicting. That fucking grappling hook and soundtrack was great.
Still haven't done the post game content, heard its hard as fuck and I'm a complete shitter.

well what the fuck do I use these for now

Attached: token.png (319x96, 14K)

if you don't dig the gameplay enough to play it, i think it's fine
but then you should watch a playthrough on youtube, cause it's important

Into the Breach and Danganronpa, the others will cost a tenner in about a year's time.

Attached: Capture.png (427x737, 76K)

the graphics are amazing, but the game itself gets pretty repetitive pretty fast

If you can't afford a $5 off coupon and you aren't buying any more games, buff your badge.

Need to buy something totalling 105 kr. Which games should I get?

Attached: Screenshot_20190707-184625_Steam.jpg (1439x1932, 750K)

use them on the badge so you level up

Dammit I don't know if I should wait some more on some of these.

Attached: conveince me.jpg (625x443, 53K)

save them for the next event. the lunar new year tokens carried over to this one.

steam level, get the badge

enjoy bronze

Attached: placement.png (557x380, 225K)

Dump Hand and Valkyrie 4. Get the rest.

how do you know they will again

I have enough tokens for 5 bucks off and dont know what to use it on. Is Monster Hunter worth getting?

Did anyone actually win anything from the sale event?

1000 winners from a pool of 47 million is like 0.0000001% chance of winning. people spend hundreds to get their team to win what a scam.

I made that mistake thinking with the first lunar event where I spent my tokens and basically had none for this one

they didn't state the lunar tokens would carry over at the time either.

and steam level means literally nothing unless you still have a probationary account.

>people spend hundreds to get their team to win what a scam.

They're called whales, and I spent $15 this whole sale.

I won koikatsu party

best games under 5$?

Not really.

Not really related to winning the event but

>As an extra gift for those that participated, we have randomly selected 5,000 users that contributed from any team in the Steam Grand Prix to receive the top game from their wishlist. Users that were randomly selected will receive their gift within 48 hours from the end of the Steam Grand Prix.

Attached: wireclay[2].jpg (318x240, 8K)

1000 from the first place get their top 3 games for free. It's a gigantic reward for someone who might have only like a 1000 points. They should have made it 3000 from first get their top game. Likewise for second and third.

>105kr limit
>2 games already over the limit

I'm an amerifat so I don't know if I'm doing the math wrong but just get Hollow Knight and UnderRail.

5000 out of every single contributor is even lower chances

Depends on the genres you like. There is for example:
Batman:Arkham Knight
Gary's Mod
Paper's Please
L4D2
Terraria
Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition
Metro: Last Light Redux
Castle Crashers
Mass Effect 1/2
Tomb Raider
Resident Evil 4/5
Rise of Nations
Sleeping Dogs
Hotline Miami
Faster than Light
Risk of Rain
Broforce
Etc.....

>extra 5000

So that's like 0.0001% now lmao. steam has 47 million active users.

store.steampowered.com/app/428750/Neon_Chrome/

just a reminder that this is an overlooked gem for dirt cheap. 10tons are mastercraft budget devs.

Attached: header.jpg (460x215, 44K)

I don't think you can go wrong with buying levels. Most cost effective way to do so.

Time is starting to run short, but if you're still on the hunt for Mecha games, know there's something /m/ for everyone! Here's 13 lesser known gems on sale you may enjoy; a lot of which have gotten recent updates:

>Hardcore Mecha ($16.99)
It's a 2D platformer shoot-em-up that has finally received a long awaited translation and release. Sadly a lot of the sizable cast is behind backer codes you have to use to unlock the mechs. That are only usable in vs multiplayer. The promised modes that are missing are coming according to devs at least, but despite the hiccups it's still pretty great.
store.steampowered.com/app/746580/HARDCORE_MECHA/

>Zone of the Enders the 2nd Runner: MARS ($14.99)
Yes, ZoE is actually on Steam. It's a 4k port that offers a good blend of melee and ranged combat in a tight story driven chuuni package. Also has barebones VR support for a cockpit view. The game has general audio problems such as it totally dropping out at times and a bad english VO with no Japanese option. The controls can be a pain, but if you want a nostalgia trip it's decent. pic related
store.steampowered.com/app/650510/ZONE_OF_THE_ENDERS_THE_2nd_RUNNER__MRS/

>Project Nimbus ($14.99)
A stylish high speed anime influenced mecha game with some minor elements of bullet hell. Very fast and frantic, but the lack of customization options is something of a downer. The game originally launched 5 years ago, but the devs still provide updates from time to time.
store.steampowered.com/app/257030/Project_Nimbus_Complete_Edition/

>Brigador ($12.99)
A hotline miami type affair of explosive violence and solid world building with mechs and other vehicles you use to blow up enemies and the environment to your advantage. The gameplay is good, but the lore is what makes it. Aiming can be a pain in the ass sometimes.
store.steampowered.com/app/274500/Brigador_UpArmored_Edition/

Attached: ss_2612642804f808c6a6cffc8ac25860b42ac4cd88.1920x1080.jpg (1920x1080, 1.26M)

>Garrison: Archangel ($11.99)
Basically the unintentional unofficial spiritual successor to Custom Robo/ Virtual On. It boasts quite a wide selection of customization options and tech to learn. It's an early access game however and the online multiplayer is regrettably somewhat buggy and empty as a result. The offline gameplay takes some getting used to, but it shines in duels once it clicks. The team is very active and apparently working on a story mode for more single player content. Also its got a free demo (a little outdated for what's in the game now though). pic related
store.steampowered.com/app/682450/Garrison_Archangel/

>War Tech Fighters ($9.99)
It's a slightly more simplistic version of Project Nimbus with a bit more focus on melee elements more or less. Customization is sort of lacking here too, but for a grand scale mech warfare game with some great graphics you could do a lot worse. Devs are still decently active with QOL updates.
store.steampowered.com/app/630030/War_Tech_Fighters/

>The Astro Saga ($9.49)
A collection of 5, yes FIVE shoot-em-ups and shoot-em-up platformer hybrids if you're looking for an arcade styled game fix this season. They're simple and quick if you want to pick something up and blitz through a game every now and then for fun. Overall a pretty nice deal, just be warned not all of them have controller support.
store.steampowered.com/sub/85196/

>Break Arts II ($8.99)
If you wanted to mix robots and racing, then this is the game for you. Featuring some outstanding eurobeat like music and ultra high customization means you're in for a pretty unique and challenging experience. Just be forewarned that customization can be a bit overwhelming and you'll need to meticulously fine tune for the best results. Online is sort of dead sadly...
store.steampowered.com/app/547360/BREAK_ARTS_II/

Attached: NOdihDC.jpg (832x468, 90K)

I went full retard and tried making my own thread. Any anons know what I should cut from here? I only definitely want like a handful but I figured I would throw all the maybes in and find out which are not worth getting at all.

Attached: Untitled-1.jpg (738x2631, 835K)

Thanks.

>Damascus Gear Operation Tokyo & Osaka ($7.49/$13.19)
A diablo-like mecha game with decent customization in it and a passable story. Combat can be kind of repetitive and at it's core it's a pretty simple game despite its customization options. Has a sequel now with some notable improvements if you want to spend a bit more.
store.steampowered.com/app/648630/Damascus_Gear_Operation_Tokyo_HD/
store.steampowered.com/app/707350/Damascus_Gear_Operation_Osaka_HD_Edition/

>Into the Breach ($7.49)
A turn based strategy game with a mech theme from the team that brought you FTL. Has some upgrade and customization options that can lead to interesting strategies. Protip: Don't mess up.
store.steampowered.com/app/590380/Into_the_Breach/

>Override Mech City Brawl ($7.49)
If you've got some friends and loved the old Godzilla party brawlers this is one to look into; but you might have problems with finding players online. pic related
store.steampowered.com/app/709440/Override_Mech_City_Brawl/

>Mecha Ace ($3.89)
A text based adventure; game dev simulator Yea Forums's favorite. A somewhat linear story with a few branches and a skill system, but your choices have more impact than mass effect at least. If you're a fan of old school text adventures it may be worth a look. It's got a free demo as well and what looks to be a VR focused tie-in in development.
store.steampowered.com/app/318330/Mecha_Ace/

>KO Mech ($0.49)
A simple platformer type game with the gimmick of flinging enemies into one another. Somewhat short, but pretty addictive. Also it's made by someone who shitposts on Yea Forums and for half a buck it's worth selling a few cards and picking up for the absurdly good cost to entertainment ratio. No reason not to get it at this price. Character can be hard to see at times however and some may find the controls odd.
store.steampowered.com/app/862770/KO_Mech/

Cut Mark of the Ninja and buy a real stealth game, otherwise your list is decent

played all those games except for tomber raider and FTL, thanks for the suggestions

You're not doing the math wrong, my fat friend. I just need something over 105 to get the discount.

Double check you really want forager, I tried it and it felt like I was playing a nicer looking cookie clicker in a way.

Dump Hatred, half minute hero is a meme game, Metal Gear Rising is as well. Hotline Miami 2 was worse than 1. Postal 1 is nothing like its sequels and is genuinely disturbing. I know they added content in redux, not sure if worth your time.

Is the new soulcalibur worth $20?

Attached: 1542841054066.jpg (601x850, 222K)

I enjoyed RE6 a lot as a co-op game

snek

I've got Nex Machina I could trade you. steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

my recommendations

Not a cent over 5 dollars.

Attached: ONLY ONE.jpg (616x802, 106K)

For anyone who has played it, how is Kenshi? It looks really fun.

Hatred isn't a very good game. The memes were fun but the game itself is mediocre.

It's the pinacle of the series when it comes to online play.

Attached: 1520117388707.jpg (640x950, 86K)

I don't pay much attention to these things, what's that do exactly?

I like it but I don't know about buying fighting games on pc aside from kekken

it puts an extra number at the top of your profile so your erp steam friends like you more.

Holy shit

Well, I hate you

I'd get Batman if you haven't played it yet. It's pretty kino.

fuck you

Fuck. Why couldn't it have been me

>Obra Dinn
Looks very interesting but it has such a low discount, my man.
What about JYDGE?

I have 59K tokens, so I can get 15 bucks off whatever. What should I get? MechAnon's stuff isn't tickling my fancy. If Carnage Heart or Chromehounds were on steam then I'd be all over them, though.

Looked at gameplay and realized the good animation/art covered up the shit gameplay from the trailer good call user

just skimmed a few gameplay videos and you are right it seems nice but there really isn't much going on

Dumped Hatred. Half minute hero I wanted to get for the memes. I only wanted 1 until I realized the second one had a bundle for both at the same price. Played postal 2 and loved it figured redux would be better than the other one.

Sorry user i got nothing to trade but here is my steam id add me if I got anything you want: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198086853638/

yo what the fuck is moot doing nowadays? is he still working at google?

Yeah and he's maybe gay but I haven't looked hard into that.

dump astroneer and hatred for sure

>didn't really do anything
>got 150k tokens
got some free games, bretty good

How long does it usually take From games to discount more than 20%?

Yeah if you wanted forager for gathering/automation I'd recommend playing factorio since you already have it.

Big if true, I always thought he was attractive in certain way

it's activision publishing, so expect a deep discount never lol

>Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection
>Tokyo Xanadu ex
Yay or Nay

Attached: 1533232140759.jpg (500x500, 81K)

i didn't like jydge as much. crimsonland is good, but not discounted enough imo. tesla vs lovecraft is pretty good too.

i've definitely put the most time into neon chrome due to my love of theorycrafting builds.

Did they not make astroneer any better? I heard updates made it a better game

Thanks user will make sure to finally put time into it .

Should I buy the Deluxe Edition ?

Attached: 1489543661636.jpg (490x480, 37K)

activision refuses to even put call of duty below 50%

yes, because like all fromsoft games, the dlc is the best part

Can't speak for the first one but Xanadu is incredibly similar to modern Persona in its format. Obvious upscale of vita though. Combat is like Ys which isn't surprising since it's the same company.

I guess I'll just get it out of the way now then

Attached: 1448232698214.jpg (600x800, 60K)

>Tokyo Xanadu ex
I'm playing the game right now, about chapter 5, it's fine for me until now.

I'm really torn. Both look interesting but NC seems more fast paced
Yeah the Ys combat is what picked my interest. If it was turn based like TiTS then I wouldn't even bat an eye.
Afraid it's just a cheap game/cash grab by Falcom

I didn't find Hotline Miami that fun to play. That's really brain hurting and you have to die a lot before you get to know what's the correct thugs' killing sequence.

I never really touched the SP stuff but it sounds like SC2's except you make a self-insert.

Competitively it's the best in the series, probably. Certainly the best balanced.

I generally find matches in less than 30 seconds, seems to be doing alright.

Hatred is good, disregard this guys post

>Metal Gear Rising is as well.

Okay, now REALLY disregard this guys post

It's actually decent and your post reeks of having never played it.

Also you have Deadbolt in your image, yeah definitely cut Meme of the Ninja.

>Looked at gameplay and realized the good animation/art covered up the shit gameplay from the trailer good call user

I didn't think you could do a good stealth game in 2D after I played Mark of the Ninja - it's such a piece of shit. That changed with Deadbolt. Very good game at a good price.

Also readd Hatred - a lot of the people telling you to avoid it legit haven't played it.

Is that seriously all

If you've played and beaten Okami you COULD in theory drop it. Otherwise Messenger + Okami outright. Especially if you like game soundtracks.

How are the dungeon in this game? Like Persona 3/4 cramped shit?

>I'm really torn. Both look interesting but NC seems more fast paced
it is. jydge turned me off because it makes you play the exact same level multiple times with slightly different objectives.

yes

So, I bought a number of games.
Oddworld: New N Tasty, Grim Fandango, EYE: Divine Cybermancy, To The Moon, Hotline Miami, The Talos Principle, Octodad: Daliest Catch, Papers, Please, Mount and Blade full collection, Pathologic Classic HD, Dreamcast Collection, and finally, Rust as a gift for my brother.
All in all, a pretty good haul, if I do say so myself.

Well, i can't say that much, only played Persona 4 for a bit, but the dungeons are very lineal but i find them fast paced.

I got it from a humble monthly but never redeemed it I’ll give it a try

*SNIRFFFF* MM MOMMY ITS SO SWEATY IN N HERE BRAAAPP NO NO NOOO WHRRRRRRRR *SUCKED IN* RUNS AROUND ON AN AVDENTURE AND MEETS A FRIEND NAMED INTESTINE JELLYBEAN
DUDE WHERED YOU GET THAT JACKET? IT KOOKS SO GOOD AND GIVES YOU PLUS 10 CHA!

I bought Stardew Valley which I love so far. Also Yakuza 0, Rain World and Psychonauts.

>makes you play the exact same level multiple times with slightly different objectives
Well, Neon Chrome it is then. Thanks user
Thanks, I'll give it a try. I have to admit that P4 dungeons were better than 3 though that's not saying much

Attached: 1545126509988.jpg (424x403, 130K)

This feels a little pricey. Maybe I should either remove Dungeons 3, or get the Civ 6 standard instead of gold.

Does the DLC add that much?

Any other recommendations?

I've got the standard Civ 6 and two of the DLCs, if you wanted to trade for something.
steamid: steamcommunity.com/id/fm_salchemist/

S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Prey? (I played Stalker in the past but never on Steam)

Also, Ni No Kuni 2? Yay or nay?

civ doesnt seem worth it without DLC. but i havent played 6.

Does the €5 coupon only work with the sale or can I keep it forever until I find something I want?

>normiepunk

stalker has the potential for hundreds of hours due to freedom and modding

prey is really good and a more cohesive experience, but you'll get maybe 3 playthroughs of it

i'd recommend both, so coinflip it

Isn't Destiny 2 a free game?

spent $45 on this sale, hopefully the next sell has DMC5 for 50% off

Shadows: Awakening is a decent ARPG. It's "kind of" party based, in that you have 4 characters to control, but you only control one at a time. You swap between them to use abilities. Each character only has a few abilities. Your "Build" is based on which characters you take with you.

only all year 1 content, which is still a lot of game, but what i got is the deluxe edition of the latest expansion including the next full season pass

the deluxe wasn't a wishlist option so apparently the most expensive edition is auto picked

Steam level makes card packs drop more often. Card packs=free money if you sell them.

Any suggestions based on this?

Attached: most-played.jpg (529x935, 172K)

>so apparently the most expensive edition is auto picked
Shit, I should have wishlisted Train Simulator

does War for the Overworld need dlc?

AAA game that costs $40-$50 on sale.

Dark Souls Remastered

Thank you, anons. I'll go for Prey, then. I want something new and fresh. I'll give Ni No Kuni II a try too since I like weeb stuff. Dragon Quest XI was fun.

Yeah, my suggestion is to go outside!

apparently there's some $500 dlc for eve online, is that wishlist-able?
well, event already ended anyway

Killing sequnece?

Looked up some gameplay. The gameplay looked crisp but I didn't think I would enjoy it passed the first few levels.

Hotline Miami is structured in such a way that killing enemies is like a puzzle. You can brute force it sure, but doing it the "right" way makes killing them much easier.

Then def remove Postal Redux, it's just Hatred but worse. (Unless you want a online co-op game and then I can recommend Redux)

is EDF fun single player?

>only game that looks interesting is risk of rain 2
>but it's not on sale, €13 with the grand prix coupon

Is Black mesa worth buying? Half-Life is one of my favorite games.

Alright, you better not be trolling cause I just bought 8 of these

It's really best in multi. I wouldn't find it fun in single.

Just get RoR2. Fuck, it's a great game.

get the cheaper games and wait until Risk of Rain 2 has more content

What would you be willing to give for this?

Attached: Screenshot_20190708-081616.jpg (1080x1920, 490K)

Some user said postal 1 wasn't like 2, I thought he just meant the perspective. After looking up gameplay it was definitely more than perspective. Dropped it too

Ah that is fine thanks for looking out user. Any recommendation on if getting 1 and 2 is worth or if I should just get one of them?

Another user convinced me to get it, and I am having fun in SP so far. It would def be more fun in multi with friends shittalking eachother.

Prey since you already played STALKER. Otherwise it would be a tie.

is rain world any good?

what do I buy

Could buy and trade you something up to €8, just add stridnikov if you want to deal.

Does Darkwood have a decent amount of content?
I've heard good things about it buy I don't want to get it if I can finish it in an afternoon or anything.

I think they're all good honestly. I'd start with 1 though just because it's the first.

Throw XV into the fucking trash. And XIV is good, but you'll want a subscription plus the expansions if you'll want to see everything, which might not be ideal if you're on a budget.

here's what I carved it down to

Attached: myCart.png (620x397, 128K)

Dunno about the rest but Dark Messiah is awesome.

XV is 100% not worth it, but neither is xiv you are paying the same for less content and less actually new stuff as time goes on.
If you actually raid throughout a cycle staying subbed would be fine, but otherwise you will get as much out of it by only subbing for a month each time a update drops.

Trimmed my list down a bit. Any other suggestions on what not to get?

Speak for yourself. Ton of stuff I wanted was on good discounts, in a lot of cases their highest evers, so I jumped on that shit. Had $15 of free Steam funbux to boot from rollover of points and shit, so I ended up saving even more than I normally would have. And I funneled my extra points into Steam badge shit so I have a much higher chance of card packs to boot. Best sale for me in ages.

Get Deep Rock, it's good.

Thinking about DMC4 Special Edition. Worth it?

there is nothing

I bought age of mythology + the chink expansion (only bought the expansion for the increased map size) and sonic mania.

I didn't buy it yet because it is still unfinished. I don't want to play then wait half a year for the final content.

That new version of Blood 1 worth a shit?

I've been recommended not to buy Hitman 1 as it is, but rather the DLC for the second game that is essentially the whole first game.
This, essentially:
store.steampowered.com/app/960831/HITMAN__GOTY_Legacy_Pack/
Problem is, even though Hitman 2 is technically free with most of the content being DLC packs it says I can't buy that DLC without owning the game, so maybe you need to buy at least the Standard Edition DLC first.

>but only if you can stomach a retarded difficulty spike in Dead Cells past the first run

As far as I understood it GOTY legacy upgrade is included in the GOTY Legacy Pack. I think it was made for the people who had the first game and received the same content in the second game except for the Patient Zero missions, or something along those lines.

Attached: 1561428740493.jpg (640x480, 41K)

If you like Myst, you'll enjoy Obduction.
However, it doesn't run incredibly well, and you'll want to install it on an SSD. The load times can be pretty brutal, and due to a gameplay mechanic they might incur often.

Tick tock, thats the sound of that Fortnite money drying up as the fad dies out.

Make sure to get the dev builds which are still being updated. The last official release was like 6 years ago even though the new ones have a lot of good fixes.

Is Book of Demons any good? Kinda looks like Diablo but wth card game mechanics.

Anything multiplayer under $15?

Batman is good, and definitely the most bang for your buck.

Her story is neat. D4 is fun but incomplete. Pychonauts RR is VR only, so I haven't played it yet. Rime is kinda cute, but I don't think it's particularly good. It ran pretty poorly on my PC, the story is incredibly uninspired and it's kind of an awkward mix of Journey and Ico that in my opinion didn't really work.
Journey worked because it's short and tightly paced, whereas Ico is more somber and has a bit more gameplay in it. Rime constantly tries to dazzle you with rousing music like Journey, but it's slower paced like Ico while also having incredibly shallow and unsatisfying puzzles.

I thought about buying ace attorney. But then thought why when I could just watch it on YouTube or whatever? Is there a reason to buy?

>Is there a reason to buy?
Yes, the gameplay. Figuring out the contradictions by yourself is satisfying. If you don't wanna do that, watch the anime or whatever.

>Is there a reason to buy?
not being a nigger is one.

Playing the game instead of being a pathetic entitled zoomer is another

Estival Versus and pirate the DLC with creamapi.
But if you have that then play Shinovi as well. VD is good but if you want more you're out of luck, also far less variety than senran. If you're a fan of senran or become a fan, avoid Peach Beach Splash, it's mediocre.

Estival with dlc all the way still. Cream api is super easy to use, just do a quick google search and you're gold.
Shinovi has a better story and slightly faster gameplay but estival has way more characters and content, including outfits. And is graphically prettier too. You can also upscale the game to fake 4k on 1080p monitors to make it look ultra crisp as well, there are guides for that on steam.

Hope you enjoy it if you get it!

Shoul I buy Sekiro now, or do you think it can go lower in a not-so-long future?

It's a shit VN that pretends to have gameplay that doesn't take any brain power or affect the plot

So Dirt Rally is a must buy right? I was thinking of buying all the Wargames games since they are also under 10$

I bought the first one when it was in early access and I loved it.
It's a pretty demanding simcade game though, so don't expect to be able to hold the gas for the whole track, you will be required to be careful.

most of these games are old enough to be abandonware, just pirate them

Playing Oblivion after finishing Morrowind was one of my biggest vidya disappointments

DO DO DO DO DODODODODO

Please gib one suggestion based on this. Don't have to be on the list itself.

Well, you should ignore Early Access games for starters.

Only games you have on there that I've played is mordhau and kurtzpel.
Of which one isn't on sale and the other is shit.

Ace combat 7 worth it as a strictly single-player experience? Is the multi even alive?
I just want a comfy game to 100%.

Based movie

Slay the Spire for sure. DD is not that great.

You have similar taste to me so I will advise this at least: Do NOT get wargroove.
It is TERRIBLE, the AI is broken, the multiplayer is filled with braindead children, and the art makes your eyes bleed.

save them for the next event. steam levels are a trap to trick you into wasting them

recs?

Portal games

How did I do?
>Steamworld dig 1 and 2
>Steamworld Heist
>Bloodstained
>My friend Pedro
>Lobotomy Corporaton
>Sundered
>Odallus
>Guacamelee 2
>The friends of Ringo Ishikawa

why

Episode 1 and 2 as well, zoomzoom

Because the gameplay, guns, side missions, and story are better than 4. Also there is a fun fishing mini game in 5

I found Odallus to be a underwhelming Castlevania clone. Steamworld dig is massive comfy though.

is outward any good?
