It makes sense in the scope of the planet that some bosses are in several places and some. The Grovetender is only in scorched acres because they tend the grove and grow wisps or something. Same is Ifrit is trapped in the ice zone of RoR1 or the Ancient Wisp only being in the two wisp related zones. Then you've got stuff like scavengers and imps that go wherever they please

You're right maybe it's just the 3D exacerbating the balance issues. I had an artificer run two days ago that ended only because I lasted so long it crashed (Around 118 minutes) due to so many malachite spawns.
Then today I couldn't get to level 4 as huntress due to every boss being the golem and the right chest items not appearing.

Maybe useless items in this one just feel much worse than in 1.
