The one thing TLOU does better than RE4 is controls because RE4 was designed with the GC in mind.

Not even controls. RE4 evolved from classic re games and so the whole game is designed around claustrophobic angles and not moving while shooting. It makes RE4 one of those games where proper positioning is the most important part of survival and the devs knew that and gave the enemies great sound design. Mean while the TLOU is just generic third person shooting with little identity apart from integrating stealth.

I'll disagree on camera and mobility. RE4, despite having more action, isn't an action game. You're still supposed to be at a disadvantage overall and the close camera is for a more personal and alert mood.

No I meant that the control scheme is just really bad when playing it on any console that's not the GC/Wii. RE5 controls are so fucking great, that I wished when the ported RE4 over, they would update the controls for it to be like RE5.

I finished RE4 for the first time 2 days ago. I don't really get all the hype for it. Why is it hailed as the best RE? Sure the shooting was fun, but the story was boring and there wasn't much variety in the enemies.
Don't get me wrong. It was OK, but it shouldn't be so highly praised in my opinion.
