Theyre... okay. This board in particular shits on them because there's fanservice, but there's a difference between sexy characters and sexualized characters. They're unremarkable though. The only one really worth playing is pirates curse. Good comedy, movement, power progression, rewards exploration by letting you complete requests before you're prompted, a fun speedrun, and has meat to it unlike the other 3.

they're easy to middling difficulty metroidvanias. the most recent one is a meh platformer. its strengths are in its character designs, music and art style.

"Floaty"is a way to describe the platforming. Most of the transformations are things you used once to get around an obstacle and never again. Banjo Kazooie bosses out the ass (Do this thing, three times). Maps that would have been considered limited even in the GBA days.
