Basically this for me too. Juri was extremely unique and rewarding in sf4, but they removed and fundamentally changed so many of her tools that she is hardly the same character anymore.
Her design is pretty perfect though

Dont forget that parry move she had (that was admittedly limitedly useful but a nice option), and the ability to link out of her overhead in feng shui, which now is even on hit and unsafe on block. They lowered her skill ceiling and didn't give her anything in return.
All of Juri's fuha stores now are used for combo extensions, whereas before they were that AND zoning tools for different spots. Her kit was homogenized
