Is Sea of Thieves still popular? I tend to see and hear a lot about it just not here
I had a lot of fun with it

>still popular
was it ever?
That dolphin is a fucking degenerate.
I think so?
>still popular
Its got a pretty okay sized community to my knowledge. Their server system is set up so you shouldn't really be able to tell the difference between 100 active players and 10000 active players. But if it was actually dead I'm sure Rare and Microsoft wouldn't have had as many updates as they did.
t. pufferfish
Yes, but only popular because it was put on the game pass. MS had to essentially make it free because the first 6 months it was mediocre and they didn't want people leaving in droves. So don't expect much.
I haven't actually played it
who in their right mind thought a beach ball fish was a good idea
Microsoft let's rare make updates just to keep them busy, otherwise they would have just sat around all day doing nothing, this is charity work.
Played it during the gamepass shit these days.
I enjoyed it a lot desu, but I have a bias for first person sailing. The game has a really good core but it doesn't have much content, any content to work towards is cosmetic and the mechanics are as deep as a puddle.
They need more enemy types and items, else the game gets stale fast.
Haha Imagine he is bringing that to his rape cave to use as his cock sleeve. That would be funny ha ha
>No Man's Sea
That game is such wasted potential.
Sailing is so well done but the game is dragged down by the dogshit combat and boring cosmetic grind.
Hey fuck you buddy I'd like to see you do better
Alpha player who still pops in on updates here, I still enjoy it. Current Insider build is focused around digging up powder kegs, something about 'stockpiling defenses' so that implies some new threat is coming. Also basically all the in-game lore books are hints at future content like giant enemy crabs, dual-wielding and a bunch of other shit.
underrated
none of that matters if the game hasn't got a good core design, they could add a million enemies and the game would still be boring ass collect the comsetics
A lot of multiplayer games function similarly, I enjoy SoT like I enjoy Halo multiplayer.
I'm a pirate legend on SoT, though I stopped at legend lvl 9.5 while I take a break
When did you start? Pirate Legend is just an "I like grinding" emblem
Been playing on and off since launch, got to legend back in September or something, the game is amazing when you have an awesome crew of regulars who like to rob every ship
>it's fun with friends
Agreed, though I don't raid everyone. I'm that one solo sloop who out fucking maneuvered you when you tried to ram and board me well, probably not you but I'm definitely one of those sloops who impressed
