why does v hate this game?
Why does v hate this game?
Because it's bad.
I do not play bad games, because they're bad.
Why do YOU play bad games?
Why do YOU like things that are clearly bad?
*farts*
The VA is so bad I can't get past it. English and Japanese both are fucking awful
Welp, can't argue with that.
I'm packing my things and going home.
Xeno had always been late 80s/ early 90s anime up until that point.
Then the series took the modern anime pill and shit all over its established fandom.
Does it though? We see threads of it almost dialy. Then Eric comes in seething there're no XCX threads or that it's just tossed in with the other Xenoblade games.
Not really.
someone post that cringy """""japanese humor""""" webm. you know the one
>up until that point
At which point exactly? All the Xenoblade games have had taken the modern anime pill in varying doses.
>tedious combat
>dumb gacha shit
>emptiest open world game on switch
>weebshit story
I really did try to like it, but it's such a fucking snoozefest of a game and I'm not even that hard to please. Biggest regret purchase I've had in years.
Is just one insane individual that has been doing nothing but shitposting this game with loads of different strategies for 2 years.
I loved it and I dont care at all about the waifu nonsense
Oh hey who could be behind this thread?
Recently finished XCX and I'm raring to go on this.
I honestly couldn't finish it, mainly because I didn't like how dragged out every single encounter was. I don't remember XC1 or XCX being anywhere nearly this much of a slog to play through.
If you enjoy it I would suggest that you grab torna as well
Note that it has more in common with XC than with XCX, yet still kind of different.
It looks like shit in handheld mode
>I didn't like how dragged out every single encounter was
git gud
Very inferior to XC1.
I finished XC about a month ago and loved it apart from the bland, horrid, sidequests.
XCX had more involved sidequests, but a mute protagonist and I felt less of a bond with the characters. Still salty about the ending and I empathise with those that completed it years ago.
Did you collect all the crabs?
FUCK
OFF
is all I can say to that
I seen that quest and noped the fuck out. I may enjoy playing games but that felt like an affront to my life and disrespecting my time.
I started getting to know the characters through the affinity quests but I just don't have the will after that ending. Murderess got my dick diamond hard.
I eventually got the intricacies of the combat system down to the point that battles were much shorter than before, but it's still absolutely boring to play. I've never had this much of a problem with a Monolith Soft game so I don't know what the fuck they were smoking.
But you got Mia right?
The best selling Xenoblade game. If anything it expanded the fandom.
I don't know I just bought it last week I have clocked 21 hours and I just finished ch 3 Kino btw, and I have been having a blast, I heard here on ve that the combat system was shit but fuck whoever it said that.
if Yea Forums hates this game who have I been talking about it with these past months
anyone got that webm?
And it probably didn't alienate anybody outside Xfag and Eric and other butthurt XCX fans.
>ch 3
And the fun is about to begin.with combat.
do I ever
because it's a bit shithouse
>voice acting is bad but excused because 'heh heh accents'
>gameplay is the most braindead it's ever been, like sorting through small change until you have enough money for a 100 dollar note and then the battle ends - every battle follows the exact same flowchart and there's virtually no build flexibility
>"it gets good 10/20/60 hours in/after the final boss"
>gacha elements that exist solely to prevent you from using any characters you might already have an interest in - you can beat the game without any rolls already
storywise it's Takahashi rehashing his old ideas for the Xth time in a less interesting yet stupider way
t. someone who loved Gears and X, thought 1/Torna was alright and Saga/XB2 was shit
