The explosions and crashings, though.
Except for that reporter mission in 0 where he canonically gets, and accepts, a handgun super early in the game, thus pretty much proving he's totally fine with having one, and they aren't exactly nonlethal. The point is that he wouldn't kill civilians, not never kill anyone ever, and sure enough you can't shoot anyone who isn't hostile to you first.
Rubber cars, rubber explosives
He is extremely skilled and never hits any vital spots.
The first Yakuza game had him shooting thugs on the highway.
He has.
How about the car chase in 1, where you literally are blowing up cars and shooting guys off trucks as you speed down a highway
Kiryu vs Justin Trudeau
WHo wins?
Trudeau. If Kiryu beats him, he wins.
rubber sword
he walked it off
gameplay is not canon
>that yakuza 0 scene where kiryu guns down like 50 people on the freeway
it's okay he put a parachute on him you just didn't see it
youtube.com
correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Kiryu super against guns and killing people?
No, and I honestly have no idea. The story says he's never killed, but he doesn't seem against the idea of doing it if necessary.
He says outright in 5 that he has never killed anyone.
he's shot 3+ helicopters down and gunned at least 50 people down on the freeway
The helicopters/cars were either remote controlled, or the pilots were T1000s and reconstituted off-screen.
The people on the highway were speeding or flying too close to the ground
They were Snake Flower Triad, not civilians.
They don't count.
Killing in self-defence doesn't count.
The point is that Kiryu never killed anyone with malicious intent.
killing people is fine as long as they're criminals
Murdered
The word is "murdered"
chinese are bugmen
they arent alive
The only games I've played were 5 and the zombie one, and in the zombie one, the absolutely refuses to kill the zombie he first meets until someone makes it absolutely clear to him that it's already dead
Can't believe Ryu is dead.
Uhh he got hit on the head after the highway sequence(s) and forgot about them. Also the canon option is no gore because the rubber bullets and blades only cauee blunt damage. The waiter was stashing ketchup in his suit from the restaurant and when he was shot with rubber bullets they popped.
A magician never gives up his secrets
that leaves the window open for manslaughtering, womanslaughtering, and childslaughtering
And rubber blood?
Rubber doorman.
>Kiryu has never killed anyone
youtube.com
he was Chinese so it doesn't count
Manslaughter is typically done on accident, so yeah
>Kiryu was nearly 30 when the events of Yakuza 1 happened
man that's fucked up. Just think, he spent his prime years in prison
40*
chinese are not people so it doesnt count
Obviously. The rubber ambulance will be by shortly, where the rubber patient will suffer rubber blood loss before being announced rubber dead. After a trip to the rubber morgue, they'll put him in a rubber coffin and have a rubber funeral with his rubber friends and rubber family attending, all to give their rubber condolences.
In Yakuza 0 it was the Shibusawa Family.
All happens in his mind, he's just a salaryman who thinks he's a yakuza.
He's almost 40 after the jailtime
>rubber condolences
Sounds like a 80s punk band
