You want to know what's worse? apparently well over half of all people who play video games don't actually complete their games and this data is exactly why many games start off strong but completely go to shit in the 3rd act or have a weak ending. Unfortunately it will keep getting worse. Vidya is bigger than hollywood now (just without the prestige that comes with it) so it literally can't crash. All you can do is deal and buy the games from the few devs who do give a shit, or get a new hobby. Personally I scaled back quite a bit from vidya and have multiple hobbies to fill the gaps.

I did that for DMC3 with cheat codes, it's fun for half an hour and that's it.

You can defeat urizen to unlock the next difficulty tho.

Welp I guess this thread is over, but I get you. I am not a big fan of Symphony of the Night as I didn't play it and the time to play it has passed for me personally, however I am glad you got your next game that you enjoy like DMC was for me.

DMC5 is great and I'd reccomend it to anyone who likes DMC or action games, but I won't lie V really is shit. He should have just been a cutscene only character because his gameplay is DMC2 levels of bad in my opinion. However there's not many of them and you can even skip a few.

alot of people on Yea Forums complained about how easy normal mode was, from shitposters to genuine fans, but if you watch a normal person play for the first they still get there ass kicked. I saw streams and playthroughs of newcomers dying to goliath, or not knowing how to launch people in the air because they think lock on is a button press instead of holding it down. Capcom had the right idea of making it easier for beginners but I wish they had the other difficulties selectable from the start.

I just started DMD. Not sure I want to finish it. I got S ranks on Nero’s missions so far, and I don’t imagine it will be hard to S rank V’s. But Dante stresses me out a bit. Especially Cavaliere Angelo. I hated that fight on SOS.

I don't like his gameplay at all, or his character design, just feels hyper edgy and boring in his dialogue and the way he acts, his bird isn't funny or interesting to me, and his combat is just balls compared to Nero or Dante

It's bullshit from both angles. I'm sure most devs would be happy to make a tight game that's not bloated, but people get pissy if a game doesn't offer the appropriate amount of gameplay for the money so publishers want big bloated games with lots of bulletpoints on the box regardless if any of those gameplay elements are fleshed out. So instead of having a short game with depth and replay value people get the big open world game with 50+ hours "content" that they get bored of after 10 hours.
