what happened to console design in this gen?
Both ps4 and xbone look like VCR's.
Also why old consoles look poorly made?
For example PS1, NES, original xbox look like they are all made out of cheap plastic, there are huge gaps.
In fact most of electronics from the 70's-80's looks like that, what gives?

Just get a George Foreman grill and you'll have the same experience. More fun too.
>he thinks that atari didn't use real wood
prior to 7th gen everyone rightfully recognized consoles as expensive toys. Around 10 years ago people decided that gaming was serus bizness fer adults and thus everything became a black rectangle.
2005 showroom PS3
Same design but a bit thinner and moar sexy ports
Black dodecahedron when?
Launch ps4 is sexy as fuck. The pro and slim look retarded.
what's also interesting is the way 7th gen was packed.
Xbox 360 for example had this cool expensive packaging for example.

I bought xbox one x last week and it's just a simple cardboard box.
You know the pal snes is a lot better
The fat PS3 looks like a Foreman grill
The ps2
>George Foreman grill
>Spider-Man font
Are we at the point now where zoomers are idolizing shit-ugly things from 15 years ago ironically like boomers do with the 80's trash?
it better be, for being price above 1000$
launch ps4 is the best looking console ever made
>Is there a sexier console than the launch PS3
Yeah
PS2 slim, and its a stretch
Easy
I think the original PS4 looks great.

What do you want them to look like, a game sphere?
PC Engine
Or this
I might actually like the NES more as a console but holy shit the SNES was an upgrade design-wise.
Now I'm wondering if there's a documentary about the creation of the NES, because it looks nothing like the Famicom, where's my SNES (pal) looks exactly like the Super Famicom.
