Arthur had multiple opportunities to live a good life, he could have dissapeared or handed himself in, we see through John that there was another way. Also his early death was through his own mal intent rather than pre-destined

Raiden unironically. Snake at least had a passable life growing up and while he got fucked at the end by things like Naomi, he still got a good send-off.
Raiden had a shit childhood and then had to go through what Snake went through as part of the SSS, married Rose, realized it was a mistake and started hitting the bottle, found out his wife is cucking him with Colonel Campbell, became a Cyborg, got molested by Vamp, found out he wasn't being cucked but now he still has to deal with Rose, lives long enough to see transhumanism actually start coming into effect, goes through the entire MGS Rising ordeal and ends up spending to the best of our knowledge, the rest of his life pushing Armstrong's ideal and fighting his own war of justice regardless of the legalities.

I really wish Raiden had kept his mask on for the entirety of his games. It would further dehumanize him and help with the mind fuck narrative he found himself in. I would have also enjoyed it if there was more than one of you on the Big Shell and you didn't notice but the game kept switching which one you were playing as during certain parts.
