Are there any good PS2 games that arent well known but also arent ugly gray beat em ups/rpgs? What am I supposed to do if I already played Katamari and Chullip? I really liked Doshin the Giant for gamecube, anyone know of a PS2 game that achieves a similar level of uniquess?
What I'm not looking for: Stretch Panic, Gitaroo Man, Magic Pengel, Metropolismania
this is what I feared. there has to be a better game than chulip right? chulip is all we get???
Ayden Gray
You'd have better luck with PC games. Gurumin: a Monsterous Adventure game me that sort of feel, feels like a Dreamcast game that never got attention, but came out more recently.
Aaron Roberts
final bump, thanks for trying everyone
Jeremiah Cox
Did you try Gregory Horror Show? Its only released in europe and japan btw
Blake Mitchell
Okage >rpgs oh uh Gitar- >Gitaroo Man What the fuck do you want from me
Angel Lopez
Mister Mosquito, Musashi: Samurai Legend, Disaster Report, Primal, Dark Cloud, Blood Will Tell, Mark of Kri, I-Ninja, Drakan: the Ancient Gate.
Parker Butler
The Adventures of Cookie and Cream
Tyler Peterson
i've done some searching on my own and I know what the common responses are to this question. Just wanted to see if there was something I missed. I guess what I'm looking for doesn't exist, at least not on PS2 which doesnt really surprise me.
Cooper Lee
The Boku No Natsyuasumi series might be up your alley, It's basically a japanese summer vacation simulator, the second game was released for PS2.
>aren't well known >aren't ugly gray beat em ups/rpgs
do ya like horror games, user
Lucas Watson
Only one of these that looks any good is Disaster Report, forgot to put Mister Mosquito on the list of what I'm not looking for, it's like the go-to weird PS2 game. Also I didn't even think I'd have to put Cookie and Cream on there because is obviously shit
Mason Jones
>OP is a hipster who refuses to play popular games ok
Angel Cox
Have you played Haunting grounds? It seems pretty cool if you like games like Clock Tower.
Robert Long
Road Trip Adventure.
Angel Flores
I remember trying to play this a couple years ago but quit pretty early on because I thought I'd need to know japanese to play it. Is it worth playing if you can't read?
Jose White
Kuon, Rule of Rose, Ghosthunter.
Easton Foster
What the fuck do you even want? You want something like Chulip and Katamari damacy, but not Stretch panic and Guitaroo Man? The only crossing criteria between the first two are also present in the latter. Fucking make a proper filtering process you pretentious faggot.
Gavin Thomas
I'm just trying to find games that aren't similar to most games, those tend to be unpopular but they also tend to be shit. There are some good ones and I've played them, just trying to see if there are any more
Landon Jenkins
You could look up a guide.
Jordan Torres
It's not the most out there game but Killer7 does a lot of interesting things with its gameplay.
Zachary White
Killer 7 on PS2 is shit. So much so reviewers docked it compared to the Gamecube version. Also we have a pretty great PC remaster on Steam.
Brody Powell
I forgot it had been ported to PC. Made the aim skill completely useless.
Grayson Torres
What I mean by "not looking for" is I already know about it, not that its not good. They've kinda become the common "obscure" games, I guess because the PS2 is so old now and most of its library has been uncovered and discussed by now.
Although I will say Gitaroo Man is shit and made obsolete by Parappa 2, please defend it if you disagree
sorry man if I want to mash the square button to beat up guys I'll play sly 2
Liam Wood
Nah m8 it's all atmosphere.
Jack Cooper
Endonesia is the other game from Chulip creators, try it
Josiah Thompson
alright if OP wont say this then i guess it's up to me
FOR FUCK SAKE OP CLEARLY SAID HE IS LOOKING FOR OBCURE GAMES STOP POSTING BASIC BITCH GAMES EVERYONE HAS ALREADY HEARD OF GOD FUCKING DAMNIT
FIREFIGHTER FD18 IS AN ARCADE STYLE FIREFIGHTING GAME PUBLISHED BY KONAMI CRITICAL VELOCITY IS AN OPEN WORLD MISSION BASED DRIVING GAME FROM NAMCO WRECKLESS THE YAKUZA MISSIONS IS ALSO AN OPEN WORLD MISSION BASED DRIVING GAME BUT YOU HAVE ALREADY HEARD OF THAT GAME BCV: BATTLE CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES IS A JAPANESE FIGHTING GAME WHERE YOU USE DIGGERS AND BULLDOZERS TOKYO BUS GUIDE 2 LETS YOU DRIVE A BUS AROUND TOKYO IT SOUNDS RELAXING BUT IT CAN BE SOMETHING STRESSFUL YOU ALSO KNOW ABOUT THE CHORO Q SERIES
John Moore
If your brain can still operate on radical 90s vibe, definitely play Hot Wheels: Velocity X: MAXIMUM JUSTICE.
Well he's certainly a faggot if he doesn't want to play the rest of those games, but you make it sound as if Disaster Report isn't a great series.
Blake Anderson
Metal Max Saga
Jayden Martinez
youtube.com/watch?v=iT0L43trPDY >IREM made a pachislot simulator >with a story mode >where pachislot is life or death serious business >between events there is a sandbox where you can date the girls and eventually bring them to a love hotel >you can play as a girl
Samuel Adams
it's just called metal saga, and that's the only metal max game we got until xeno but yeah metal saga is 100% legit
Metal Saga is great, despite being one of the weakest entries in the series outside of Xeno. I highly recommend it and the rest of the Metal Max games.
