I'm not a man. Please be a little more considerate of the diversity of Yea Forums next time.
I'm sorry, ma'am.
I really am.
OH, I didn't realize I was talking to a lady!
I GOT IT.
A THREAD!
The worst part about RDR2's story is how hard it tries to convince you that Arthur was actually a good man.
well it doesn't really. The story leaves it up to you to decide whether Arthur was actually a good person or if he just had a change of heart because of his impending death.
I'd say the game tries to make you believe the latter rather than the former actually. Even Arthur says it when he's talking to the nun.
But even if the game tried to do that, why would that be a bad thing?
>how hard it tries to convince you that Arthur was actually a good man.
>has a honor system
>your honor doesn't even affect end game
is telling the truth imho. The game is neutral when it comes to it apart from the obvious banditry
Not me. Fuck your dead ass and your shitty wife.
Most of the people who complain about it are the edge lords who play like they are Micah
Kicking that little turd out of the camp was pretty sweet.
>yfw all of the gta/rdr characters arent really the good guys of the story
No, it just paints Arthur as Arthur, a flawed man capable of great kindness and brutality. He may be a hardened outlaw, but he still has moral standards.
I'm not a good man, arthur. I'm sorry.
Arthur believes in you user, don't give up.
They're never the worst guys, though. Niko Bellic isn't a saint, but Rascalov was pure evil. Carl Johnson is a far better man than Tenpenny. Even Trevor is one of the most honourable characters in the series.
You're thinking of the nun. I remember Arthur being almost misanthropic at times.
>Trevor is one of the most honorable characters
Hooboy, that's like atomic levels of incorrect
>your honor doesn't even affect end game
What?
Arthur is a good man brought to do bad things
John is a bad man brought to do good things
>Both bad men
>Both manipulated at a young age and having suffered extreme poverty try to survive by any means
>Bad
It's always a thread with you Dutch
>Try to take out Michael
>Trevor calls you a faggot
yeah okay user
Trevor was loyal, but he was a rotten person.
>your honor doesn't even affect end game
By that do you mean it doesn't affect what happens in the Epilogue? Because even that isn't entirely true.
Arthur finds it natural to do good, the nun says as much
John, even after having a ranch and all, will immediately draw his gun and threaten people to get what he wants
