Sold the company, didn't keep making videogames.
it blows my ass away that you actually expected a response from "what went wrong?". Lurk moar -- "what went wrong?" is a goof, it's not meant to be a serious question. It's meant to imply that something good is bad to elicit bait replies.

How would a neopets revive even be like?
i really hope not mobile, IF MOBILE, something alike the warframe mobile app to check on your neopets from anywhere. while staying on PC or Console.
>i really hope not mobile

Son of a bitch
It's fucked and the glory days are forever over.
I just want a remake of old Neopets, just make it how people remember it being and abandon the idea that you have to pander to kids. Remember when they did shit like a mall tour? Did anyone here attend that?
It was the coolest shit when I was a young kid.
I still have several million neopoints. Feels bad man
proof?
Would a mobile version of neopets that replaces all neopets with anime girls work?
kys my man
scientologists took it over. the original creators lost control of the project and eventually just left.

>tfw old account got purged
end me
my original was actually 12 years but I forgot the login. I still play on this one though.
Yeah pretty much this.
With current new management, they lack any real ambition. They used to sell cards and toys. The site has barely even touched the lore in their old card game, and could be churning out rpg games for PC and console, but the current employees don't seem to know any of it exists. A property that age could get away with an inexpensive retro styling and nobody would bat an eye. They don't know the value of what they have, and they don't know what to do with it.
I did too until they froze my account "for my protection" while I was taking a hiatus. I don't even want to try and get it back at this point, I probably wouldn't play anyway.
>only 10 (or 12) years
>never played during the pre-viacom era
I'm so sorry
>ywn have a Poogle
fuck my shitty life
this game was my life in middle school
my brother played it so I vaguely remember but never played myself then
Jhudora needs more porn. Just saying.
This. I've been too butthurt to make a new one because they deleted my account from fucking 98. But to answer your question OP, scientology and viacom. Anyone here make it into Leopets by the way? I've been trying forever.
Does the new team still steal art or did the upper management start policing the 3rd world artists more?
Is Leopets still a thing anymore? I applied once a long ass time ago but didn't get in, never tried again. But every time I've heard the name this decade it's been about something less than positive (half of that's just probably petty circlejerking though)
Says 61 months but that's because I couldn't have an account as a kid, my mom said it was a virus, so I made the account many, many years later. I played the flash games a ton and even have a small little duotang of printed pages of screencaps from the site back then, plus a ton of McD plushies and a few poor-condition promo TCG cards.
I wrote several bots for this game back when I was a kid. I used to sell neopoints on d2jsp forum gold. I still have several million neopoints across 30 or so accounts, but during my peak I probably moved over a billion
same here, got drunk one night and changed my password a couple years ago, haven't been able to get back into the account ever since
This is the correct answer
