>P3: Blue, Port City, Dour
>P4: Yellow, Small Town, Mysterious
>P5: Red, Big City, Stylish
What will P6 be like?
P3: Blue, Port City, Dour
it's a new director isn't it for p6?
I hope so, P3-5 are all too samey and they need to go a fresh direction. 5 was also leagues worse than 3 and 4 because of the pacing.
>4 being better than anything
Black and white, industrial city, anxious
>P6: Red, Village, Comfy
Brown, Iran, Shitty
Fuck I meant to say green
I want something innovative. How's making it about adults instead of teenagers?
Well yeah, it's better than P5 and chunks of P3 for sure. You'd have to have some insubstantial reason to think otherwise. The writing is certainly worse than 3, but 5 is gutter tier.
I'm going to say it
4 is the worst one out the neo-persona games. 3 had the best story and while 5 had the worst story it was the most fun to play with the best battles and the best mechanics for getting new personas. 4 was somewhere in between which makes it feel lackluster in comparison to both.
P5 is great.
>5 having superior gameplay
>being stylish
>having better music
>still implying it's worse than 4
P4 has a lot of problems, pacing isn't one of them. It has an overall goal driving the plot forward while P5 doesn't.
Beyond the fact that most of these games are bought by Jap teens, there's a reason why they're set in High school. Jap High school is one of the last times the Jap will have fun before entering the sheer grind and monotony of a salary job or college.
>we got the killer guys!
>here’s a month of literally nothing
>oh wait... maybe that WASNT the killer...
>ok NOW we got the real killer
>month of nothing
>nanako dies
>wait... maybe he isn’t the killer...
>nanako magically comes back to life
>OK SO ADACHI IS DEFINITELY THE KILLER
>JUST KIDDING A GOD WAS CONTROLLING HIM
Yeah. Hashino is working on Re: Fantasy.
> Jap High school is one of the last times the Jap will have fun before entering the sheer grind and monotony of a salary job or college.
Seems to me you can make a whole plot out of that alone. 4 was about acknowledging your true self compared to what you present to society, 5 was about standing up to corrupt aspects of society, why not make one about breaking the monotony of society and the value of adventure after having been part of adult society for so long?
Yes. It'll probably be Wada since he is the franchise director now and he'll probably end up playing it really safe with P6.
I was referring to the pacing of the story, not the content of the story itself. All of P4's story has the overarching thread of finding the murderer so all things relate to it. P5's story constantly jumps around since most of the dungeons are only tackled because someone is going to directly attack one of the Phantom Thieves. Kamoshida's is understandable since it's the intro, but Madarame's, Kaneshiro's, Futaba's, and Okumura's, are only bothered with because someone is threatening the Phantom Thieves and they really have no connection to one another.
I assume because college/work just doesnt quite follow the kind of day to day life they want to emulate, along with following vacations, hobbies, special dates, etc.
It'll probably be Itoh since he's done both P4G and P5R. So get ready for all the awfulness of P4G and P5R packed into the main game.
Also second year of highschool is like this sweet spot where a teenager can arguably handle themselves physically, be seen and inexperieced by antagonist but at the same time old enough to already have experience in something, doesnt have to worry about what they will do after highschool.
In P4 all the characters just stop trying to find the killer for like a month and a half.
>says nothing about p1/2
casul
Happy?
