I just beat the game and it felt kind of dissapointing? By all means its a good game but
>Worlds are too big and everything feels padded out
>Game is super fucking easy (Played on proud)
>No FF charachters or collisuem
>Nothing happens during the first 25-30 hours the org comes say some shit and leave
>Afterwards the game goes hypermode and everything happens, you go through a gauntlet and fight xehanort
>Ending was okay
I played through all the games but was the dialogue always so cheesy?
The whole Xigbar = Luxu reveal really didnt get much out of me knowing that nomura made that shit up on the spot.
Also everyone but sora doesnt get enough time to develop and interact with one another.
I just beat the game and it felt kind of dissapointing? By all means its a good game but
It was disappointing. This isn't your typical cynical Yea Forums hate. This game literally dropped the ball in so many ways.
>The combat is shi-
>The whole Xigbar = Luxu reveal really didnt get much out of me knowing that nomura made that shit up on the spot
kek based retard
>Flashy animations = good combat
>by all means its a good game
No, not with the absolute lack of pacing, shit easy difficulty even on LV1CM KKO no food no NG+ (lol formchanges), absolute lack of capitalizing on Blank Points and DDD's intro, and so on.
Cope, seethe harder. youtube.com
All flash, no substance. Fucking button mash the game. Even in critical, it's still trash.
Is isnt bad but it is just spam x and magic maybe a shotlock if your feeling frisky
>>Game is super fucking easy (Played on proud)
>not playing on Critical
>was the dialogue always so cheesy?
Yes.
Also there was plenty of foreshadowing that Xigbar was Luxu, or at the very least more than just some nobody, no pun intended. The game was definitely rushed and had some missed potential but people who say it was somehow way worse than previous games need to take off their rose-tinted glasses.
>mash X
>right on d-pad
>mash X
>right on d-pad
>mash X
Wow, it's so deep
Braig was established as being a mercenary/ ex guard that Xehanort hired and turned into a nobody, no way was their any prior hints to him being some kind of secret big baddy
I just dont want the game to be a cake walk.
Saying the game isnt easy by suggesting putting the game on the harfest difficulty is pretty dumb.
KH did difficulty pretty well as you atleast needed to be somewhat aware of the enemies patterns etc. same to a lesser degree for kh2
>Just mash X, bro!
>was the dialogue always so cheesy?
It was always pretty cheesy, but I feel like it got worse as the series went on. Maybe it's just because the first game wasn't supposed to be taken too seriously to begin with, but then the series started to take itself seriously.
If you play on any difficulty but the hardest then the games have always been piss easy. KH3 is no different.
>Magic OP
>Attractions guarentee massive damage
What happened to the non combat spells?
>literally sniped from offscreen
I've been feeling this way since the beginning of February. It's a fucking letdown of game especially since it was such a hyped game
>t. guy who got the game day one
i can't believe they ruined the game lol
KH3 could've been awesome but its downright worse than all of the PS2 games.
There's never been a noncombat spell int he franchise outside of KH1, but even then you're thinking of uses outside of combat
t
If you expected this game to be good then you are literally retarded.
I still like Kingdom Hearts, but it needs to be given love and Nomura doesn't care about the series anymore quite blatantly. Especially with that interview where he said directly after Kingdom Hearts 3 released:
"If this series even has a future."
I can only imagine Nomura going "Damn it!" in this mind when he heard Kingdom Hearts 3 sold 6 million units in 2 months. And by now who knows maybe it's up to 7 millions especially with remaining interest due to DLC. The point is the series is not dying the way Nomura wants it to die. Right now Nomura must be thinking the following:
"Damn it! As soon as I finish FF7 Remake in like 8 years I have to go back to the Disney Hellhole."
Well isn't KH Nomura's baby?
It would make more sense that the dude hates FF more
You can blame Final Fantasy for that. FF15 and now FF7 Remake stole the best core team members from KH2FM's team. Fuck Square Enix for that shit.
Convince me that this isn't better than KH3.
Im talking aboit stop and reflect you fucking monogoloid
It is better than KH3.
So? Hideo Kojima created Metal Gear and he quite obviously grew to hate the series particularly after Metal Gear Solid 2 when he was angry the fanbase hated Raiden and he started to take the series in wonky directions just to "end it" so that the fans don't demand more games. It never really worked funny enough it took Konami removing Hideo's status as a full time employee and being more of a temporary hire what really put an end to Metal Gear. And I'm sure Hideo must be happy that he can pretend to be a "victim" when he was always a resentful bastard.
With Nomura, it just feels like he's trying to be professional with Disney, but he obviously doesn't care about Kingdom Hearts itself especially when he uses Kingdom Hearts as a platform for that literal Not-Final-Fantas-Versus project with Yozora the "True King."
Ive read somewhere that disney was heavily involved om what coukd and couldnt happen with their charachters, thats why most worlds are retellings and we have so few disney bosses
I know this meme is old, but can we talk about Sora. Does anyone not like how he's too dumb to live? I just don't like his personality anymore. Being so stupid he's incapable of learning or reflecting makes for a bad protagonist. In fact I quit certain anime series like One Piece precisely because I hated Luffy the main hero because he was very stupid mentally.
What would it cost Nomura to have Sora still be an optimist but always learning along with his experiences? It would make him much better as a protagonist. It fees like Nomura hates Sora a lot that he keeps on making him dumb and dumber.
This honestly
it's so damn prevalent in Frozen
Fuck you else, fucking swedish bitch, yes please throw me off the mountain again
>empty: the game
>bippity boppity boo
>replay the same empty: the game 3 times bro, oh and literally all three characters are ass to play
But isnt nomura also kind of a hack? He continously changes shits and adds new stuff delaying development
>monogoloid
Nope, superior African genetics here you pathetic cuck.
>Stop
Literally is a combat spell, it puts an enemy (or group of enemies with stopra/ga) in stasis for a period of time. You can use it on the Clock against the wraith among other things, but it is a combat spell through and through.
>Reflect
LITERALLY has no use outside of combat, and if your point is "but it's a DEFENSIVE SPELL" then you're only half right since reflega bombs cheese most fights in the game.
Cope, if you want to be angry be angry that you didn't phrase your idiotic non-point as "I miss utility spells". youtube.com
how is it old nigger it talks about 3
It might be his voice and appearance.
You could let thst stuff slide back when its obvious hes a kid but now it just looks like he is stupid.
Nomura is a hack, it's just that he hides his lack of skill under brands. Kingdom Hearts as a series is literally born through using Disney Renaissance films, no wonder Kingdom Hearts 1 sold so well. And from there Nomura kept on using popular Disney films, but I think he's ran out of the good ones. After KH3 I don't think there's enough solid films that can blind the customers. Not to mention that with KH3 already made the hype that was the fabled KH3 is now gone. Can the series stand up on its own? Especially now that Final Fantasy cameos are also greatly diminished? Time will tell, but I think that Nomura's lack of skill is about to finally bite him in the ass.
And if he's not riding the Disney Train, Nomura is riding the Final Fantasy brand, particularly FF7 as everyone knows. That's how Nomura hides his lack of talent. By working in major brand franchises that sell no matter what I mean FF15? That one sold like 9 million and the game was bad. Now I know Nomura got booted off that game, but still it's using his concepts his character designs etc. Anyway even if a FF game is lousy it shields Nomura from criticism via great sales and I figure that this is going to continue forever until Nomura retires or dies. Ironically if FF wants to be better it needs to abandon Nomura.
>superior African genetics
So you know how to swim and apply for job applications?
I love how Sora gets kept in the dark about shit for so long by his allies even though it's consistently shown he's the only person that gets shit done and manages to kill anybody. The only reason most of the plot for this series exists is because Mickey, Riku, and Yen Sid are retarded and withhold information for no reason.
III was the zenith of this where Mickey and Riku accomplosh literally nothing the entire game and then Sora shows up, saves everybody (multiple times for some of them), kills the entirety of the Organization, and beats the fuck out of Xehanort for the last time.
I feel like the writers just made them complete jobbers because they couldn't write for shit in this game.
Which is a damn shame especially for Riku because DDD really did make Riku a competent hero who gets shit done
Yup, the ability to learn and adapt beats rote memorization every single time. You can sit there and cope all day as you spout your pathetic talking "points", though. Keep crying about the lack of noncombat spells when the series never had noncombat spells! ahahaha
Really makew me wonder WHY DIDNT THEY MAKE KAIRI/XION/ROXAS/VENTUS/RIKU/TERRA/AXEL PLAYABLE?
I'm not the guy you responded to nigger.
Also play KH1, that game had Aero which boosted your defense and it's upgrades allowed you to damage enemies too.
KH2 had reflect which speaks for itself and it's essential if you want to play Critical
>rose tinted glasses
Playing the hd remakes right before 3’s release made it abundantly clear that it’s weaker than both 1 and 2.
If they made a Kairi Kingdom Hearts game I wouldn't buy it because I hate that pile of shit character and would see it as a waste of time and money making a game for a character who no one cares about.
Both of those are strict combat spells, they are not noncombat. Do you know what you are replying to?
That's how the fights went down originally; Sora has no stake in any of the fights he's present in aside from triple X, and maybe the RR/Braig fight.
Sora shouldn't have been present for Terranort/Vanitas (sorry folks, just because V looks like S dont mean S has a stake in that fight). Sora shouldn't have been present for Saix round 2 (Roxas and Xion merely existing in the same place as Sora should have fucked him up majorly, that was the whole point of KH2 and Days respectively).
>Do you know what you are replying to?
Some uppity negro who has clearly never played the games and wants to huff and puff like he knows anything
8020 - >he's the only person that gets shit done
Not anymore. The incoming DLC is going to make it so that Riku wins, Aqua wins, and Roxas wins the fights that Sora fought.
You're fucking retarded. Beat all games on LV1CM many times, there isn't a single entry that has a noncombat spell. Prove me wrong with in game screenshots if you think you can (but you cannot, because you're retarded and don't understand the English language).
I unironically want that. It would give her a chance to spread her wings after being shoved in the corner for so long. I want IV to be Kairi, Donald, and Goofy looking for Sora and Riku as a twist on the first game.
>Play the same boss with a different skin!!!
Even with the DLC changes it's such a ridiculous series-wide trend. I am completely incapable of taking any light side parties that aren't SDG seriously.
I have no idea why they cut the trailer like that when there's supposedly a lot to the DLC. It's like SE doesn't want me to be excited and buy it.
The Saix fight will be the exact same as it was with Roxas being fucking ridiculously broken, but the Riku fight will be different on account of not having flowchain, and the Terranort/Vanitas fight will be a proper 2v2 if Ventus AI gets tweaked.
That wasn't my post btw, that was what wrote before they deleted/removed the post. I agree that the other parties really have next to zero competency, but the real trouble is that they tried to write Sora as a fucking retard which brought Donald and Goofy down with him.
Don't buy it at all if you can help it, rent it from a friend or something. But even better, if you are going to buy it, then wait for gameplay and synopsis to come out.
Sorry about that. I feel a bit differently. Sora has definitely been shown as more and more clueless as time goes on but I've only ever been annoyed by it starting around DDD. He's too happy go lucky for his own good but it doesn't help that people only tell him shit half a game after it'd be useful for him to know it.
Angry 1 and CoM Sora was the best.
