She just had visons of Ganondorf being evil and Link coming from the forest and decided to act on them. Funny enough her actions based on these visions are what caused Ganondorf to get as far as he did, as he needed the stones plus the OoT to open the door to the Sacred Realm.
She also almost blew the whole plan at the end dropping her Sheik disguise to get captured, split the timeline by sending Link back, and caused Link to become resentful for not being remembered for his deeds.

TP's manga treats the source material like a joke. They weren't confident on it being strong enough as it was so they had to add in a bunch of retarded backstory that was embarrassing even for garbage manga standards. The problem is they treat all these garbage additions seriously.
At least Wind Waker's manga made reference to things actually in the game like Beedle being weird as fuck, Salvatore's mini games, luring seagulls with the pears, etc. Having fun with the wealth of content in it like you would an actual video game.
Instead TP does nothing interesting and doesn't even feel like an adaptation of a video game.

Nah the back story stuff was great. Link being unsure of his role as a hero, light no Midna and the Twilight Realm, the Resistance actually doing something sitting in the back.
