We're going back home bois
While they're at it, are they radically rebalancing core game systems too?
Because just porting the way Skyrim did things, would make the game incredibly boring.
Hopefully, though the core issues with Skyrim's gameplay require quite extensive alteration.
I'm pretty sure they're making the game exactly the same as morrowind
Even the engaging mechanics of missing shit due to low stats?
But that's a bad idea too.
>Morrowind in Skyrim
Fucking disgusting, nothing will be the same.
>that voice over
jesus, why even re-do it? it sounds awful
Morrowind's combat system is the best combat system in all of TES.
I'm a life long morrowind fan and even i have no fucking clue just on how many layers of delusion do you have to be to hold such a retarded opinion.
What makes morrowind good is a bunch of elements creating a great whole, combat ISN'T one of them, holy fuck.
Then play OpenMW.
Both approaches are out there.
morrowind combat sucks
I can't be the only one who got teary when the singing started?

>Skyrim gameplay
>With Morrowind
>Voice Acting
OpenMW already exists, I don't see the point of this mod.
Don't be this furious over an opinion, please.
I've been a lifelong Morrowind fan as well, and I legitimately think that no TES game has gameplay as good as Morrowind's.
I'll take Morrowind's janky but interesting combat system over Skyrim and Oblivion's fucking weightless trash of a combat system.
Better than Skyrim
No?
That's hardly an accomplishment
cease and desist dlc coming soon too
Why would bethesda do that?
T-TODD
I DID EVERYTHING YOU ASKED OF ME
PLEASE DON'T CEASE AND DESIST THIS
PLEASE
YOU'VE ALREADY CHOPPED UP MY LISTTLE SISTER AND PUT HER IN A BOX
YOU SAID THE BLOOD PRICE WAS PAID
PLEASE TODD
DON'T DO THIS
Pretty sure Bethesda have said hey are alright with this and the Fallout New Vegas and 3 remakes.
wait, so levitation is in? How
What makes you think that implementing levitation is somehow hard?
wow those vistas sure look pretty, but so what? who the fuck wants to play morrowind with skyrim gameplay systems and re-done voice acting
I do
Is it on SE? I'm seeing godrays which LE didn't have I believe.
It better be because I don't want it to run like shit like Enderal did, these mods are so much more graphically intense than the base game.
Technical limitations of gamebryo
It clashes with bethesda's "closed towns" design stemming from gamebryo's inadequacies of tracking and managing NPC AI
You can bet that if Bethesda still sticks to using a modified gamebryo for ES6 you'll see "closed towns" again.
When is this out? It seems to be in development hell.
Yes, it will only be compatible with SE assets.
No plans to support vanilla Skyrim.
So I can play Morrowind again but with the shitty Skyrim combat? What about magic, skills, attributes and all the stuff Morrowind has but Skyrim doesnt, is it in? Otherwise I really dont get the point
This doesn't work with 32bit operating systems, does it
Can't you play Enderal on SE?
>all these enraged zoomers who need to hit something a thousand times in order to feel like they're accomplishing something
Morrowind combat was top-tier, Skyrim was the worst of the worst.
Nope, damn shame.
Is Enderal good? I see two of them. Which one is legit.
forgotten stories is expanded, no reason to play the other one
and yes, its good
So forgotten stories also brings the base Enderal?
I have no idea what happened to Lordbound or Apotheosis. I figured there would be a beta or leaked alpha sometime this year. I eagerly await GLENMORIL as always.
yes
Not sure what you mean.
But the most legit and up to date version has its own steam page
store.steampowered.com
You need Skyrim LE though, and yes, it starts out really slow but quickly becomes amazing.
The OST is also 10/10
youtube.com
Thats the original actress you idiot
>You need Skyrim LE
I thought that other user said that it ran only on vanilla Skyrim.
I'm not sure anymore then, the steam page says you need the base game so I guess you're right.
No, it's not.
Yes, it is
First time playing Morrowind and I have chosen to make a dunmer.
What class should I pick? I am thinking spellsword because I like both magic and fighting
Why can't people get over the missing in Morrowind? It annoys me that so many people get so hung up on it and seem to ignore that every Elder Scrolls game has dogshit combat. It's not the fucking selling point of these games.
That's not Shari Elliker.
>we are still recruiting people to help with this mod
It's not coming out anytime soon
I recommend the "custom class", put Destruction, restoration and the weapon you would like to used in the main skills.
I feel this way as well.
They clearly modified her voice a shit ton to get her godly boom in Morrowind. As it is, it sounds nothing like Azura from Morrowind.
This. Morrowind does a better job at a system built around character skill than IV and V do with a system built around player skill. The only flaw with Morrowind's combat system is that there isn't proper 3d feedback on how exactly you missed.
I would say Morrowind's hit calculation isn't harsh enough, to be honest. Once you hit ~60 in any given combat skill, the your hit chance is basically guaranteed as long as you're not blinded or the opponent has magical defenses.
Why? Not every company are run by the psychopaths at Nintendo.
Spellswords not a bad choice. Dunmer have bonuses to Destruction and Longsword which are major skills to the classs so if you use those in combat you'll be starting out pretty good.
Or this is also always a solid choice.
Morrowind has a weird leveling system where you can really min-max your stat gains, but I wouldn't really worry about it, as the beginning of the game is the hardest part.
I ended up making Sorcerer because the intelligence stat synergizes well with the apprentice sign. Getting bound dagger as a starting spell is also nifty.
Why would you lie about that?
Eh, Morrowind's combat is a bit disappointing coming from Daggerfall though. I mean Daggerfall combat is even more janky, but I like that your combat swing direction actually have meaning, where in Morrowind you might was well just turn on always use best attack. Also weapon material immunity was way more harsh in Daggerfall which I like.
Magic in Morrowind is a bit weird, I wouldn't recommend trying to do a pure mage on a first playthrough. Apprentice sign is kinda shit, go for Atronach if you want to be a mage anyway.
Fucking hell I gotta use the web browser of steam to post because alt tabbing crashes the game.
My character is already made unfortunately.
How does alchemy work in morrowind?
Do you need some tools to use it or something?
Yes, you need at least a mortar and pestle, but it's better to have a full set of 4 tools for stronger potions. There are different qualities of tools as well.
>Skywind
Hey at least the assets can be used in OpenMW. This is just one of these shitty projects that put more effort into hype trailers than the game itself.
Thanks.
Just freed a bunch of argonian and khajiit slaves kept in a cave near the first town.
never ever
that was 2 years ago though
Yeah so the problem has no doubt gotten worse.
Based on what?
I love how there's always some super knowledgeable insider user ready to rant about a project/game they never touched/got kicked from and we're supposed to take it all at face value
