The amount of clutter you can put everywhere too, the optimization on Div1 was an absolute beast.
Yeh, gunplay is definitely better in Wildlands IMO. Although of course every game can be more fun with a friend, but I just couldn't get into it playing solo.

They're not actual particles, just another texture layer that is gradually faded into visibility along with its bump/shadowmap which makes it not look flat.

it's very good, the only problems I have had are lag which only occurs when servers are heavily modded and have tons of people on them. Try not to let the modded servers sway your opinion of the vanilla game, it has a super comfy charm

I can't put my finger on it but the game isn't blowing me away, I find it visually nice and it's comfy but I can't say it's very fun, and the weapon breaking makes the reward of getting cool weapons no reward at all, since they break every time you kill a bokoblin or whatever they're called
hope it picks up soon but I've heard it only gets worse from the Plateau
