If I remember correctly, I think they said that's how sin eaters turn people, they plant some sort of seed in them that causes light aspected aether to build up and never dissipate, whereas in a normal being, aether tends to lean towards a balance naturally by the body expelling excess aether over time.

Generally your rotation is pretty static.
Certain skills you may need to hold if the boss is going to be untargetable or guaranteed moving soon, but for the most part most rotations aren't super flexible.

its depends on your job. The only thing people can teach you is the opener, the rest is base on feel or priority of cooldowns and non-cooldowns etc. Knowing when the boss fucks off and when adds spawn will also change how you play and use cooldowns.

They are good as learning tools to learn mechanics since they are basically programmed to cheat them but that's about it.

I don't know how different it is because I'm still in SB levels, but prior to this xpac it was one of the harder dps classes to play for someone thats new. Unless you're coming from wow or something and fully understand mmo rotations I'd avoid it for your first class, unless it's been changed and I'm wrong.

WHM loses dps by using heal gcds so it sort of balances itself. You'll only do 7k on fights that you can heal with ogcds alone.
