I havent seen any hacks or cheaters in planetside 2 for a few years now, that isnt because Daybreak fixed the problems, thats because no-one who has the hacks cares enough about the game to actually play it anymore

i started playing again recently got about 50 hours in did not encounter a single cheater. I know it was a big problem before but it was mostly fixed.

there is 0 p2w mechanics ingame try harder.
There are no "better" weapons in the game only sidegrades and the starter weapons are completely competitive against every other weapon. with a few exeptions such as the starting TR sniper not being to do 1 shot headshots. But you can just get a bolt action one for them after like 2 hours of grinding that does that.

join a proper outfit. Its really alot to explain but the game changes completely how it plays with a proper group and any half-decent outfit will run proper ops instead of just mindlesly zerging and participating in an endless stalemate battle

I like how when a phone game or triple A game like battlefront 2 has weapons and/or upgrades that could be obtained either through grinding or spending real money they get called p2w but planetside fanboys swear ps2 isnt p2w in spite of being the exact same thing.

your starter weapons start with 2 atachments. ussually a 1x holo-sight and a foregrip/laser sight.
Attachments cost 30-100 certs to fully cert out a starter weapon you need about 150 certs. First 15 levels give you 100 certs per level so you can fully cert out all starter weapons within 2 hours. Same applies for starter classes. not to mention that you start with the most important ones already certed out eg heavy assault starts with nanoweave level 5. The upgrades for vehicles are again cheap and only the weapons are expensive but as said before the weapons arent "better" theyre sidegrades. your iq is sub80.
