Manifesting itself as an aspect of the user's shadow not unlike Alessei's stand Sethan, but instead focuses on support. Back in Black can control itself within the darkness of any shadow surrounding the user, including the user's own shadow, bobbing and weaving through darkness like a crafter's thread. Leaving about 5% of itself behind can result in a warp point through which the user can travel to freely so long as the location still remains in shadow, though this 19 times given that it still needs the last 5% to exist; if a warp point is doused in light, it is erased and Back in Black must gain more shadow from its surroundings to gain that percentage back.
How far the Stand can snake from the user is unknown, though some estimate that it could pass through and lay down warp points throughout a city within a span of minutes, if at night time at least. Within areas bathed in dark, the user might as well be able to merge with Back in Black and travel at rapid speeds. The Stand's power can also link itself into the shadows of other things, affecting them like it was the user grabbing the person or object and then holding them still or even pulling them along. While the weight limit is decided by the user's own physical strength, this means a foe surrounded by shadows can be immobilized should they get careless, and fighting Back in Black in a dark area is a death sentence.
