you know in the game he can wear and use all the heavy shit, right? you can armor him up like a knight and equip him with a bunch of swords or shields. hes not even a mage either, just a healer AND he has an iconic sword. his fathers sword.
madason couldve been there instead of solo and the "hes not the hero" arguments fall flat since parry isnt in the final smash but madason is. if that mattered then he would be there alone or next to his dad.
madason IS the hero. he just isnt the legendary hero, which is a special prerequisite to donning the zenithian set

He was always called Roto in Japan but in the original NES game localized as Erdrick. Then in the GB version, they used names closer to the original Japanese and they called him Loto. After that though, they have always used the NES translations, so he is called Erdrick in everything afterwards, like Fortune Street or Builders.
