i wish the fe characters had costumes that reflected class/promotions/other shit that actually happen in their own games. ike was alright with being able to pick both the younger and older version, but i think thats the furthest it goes besides having male/female robin/corrin

Really the 3DS characters would probably be the first ones to undergo distinct visual changes, and something like the change in Robin's silhouette would be something they wanted to avoid.
