that's a dude
well, isnt he merge his soul to his daughter?
diavolo is a pretty woman

What were they thinking?
God I've made so many jojotrannies on this board mad already by pointing out how much of an asspull this fucking episode was
The writers of the show have had 7 years of time to think about how to conclude each Part and they hit a stalemate with the currently most popular one by just making the final fight barely even a fight
The ability is 2deep4u so that you never question how bullshitty it is
And next episode most likely will be even worse
>GIF
What fucking year is it
NICE GOLD FAGGOT
>the grainy soulful gif
>the spotless soulless webm
Ger being bullshit is cool. What's lame is silver chariot requiem feels like unnecessary filler.
I'm still trying to figure out King Crimson and now this happens. Maybe it's because Diavolo uses King Crimson sometimes for defence and sometimes for offense but at times it seems like futuresight and other times it seems like The World.
Wha-
Wha-
Wha-
Wha-
King Crinsom has two abilities, you know that, right? The first is the time jumping one and the second is seeing 10 seconds into the future, I think.
no?
Still mad they changed Requiem's voice.
Yes, the Epitaph and King Crimson. He can still interact with the world during the time skip, right? Because that's the part that seems inconsistent to me.
How do you fuck up this badly when taking a screenshot?
Kek
>anime shit
>This mentally ill man tried to kill his daughter
>better punish him by making him die horribly over and over forever
What the fuck is wrong with Giorno?
Eight fucking captchas to post what the fuck?
Imagine you're about to start a first fight with a dude.
You decided you're going to lead in with a jab. You take a couple of steps towards your opponent.
Next thing you know youre on the ground with a broken nose and no memory of how exactly you got like that in the first place.
That's pretty much KC.
jojopill me
is GER an asspull?
>The writers of the show have had 7 years of time to think about how to conclude each Part
You realise it's an adaptation of a manga made by one guy right?
>cartoon frog
electionnigger
All of jojo is an assault this is no different
Yes and no
GER is the conclusion of a plot device in which an arrow can give unparalleled stand power to whoever's stand it pierces, it isn't an asspull
The way Giorno gets the arrow (and the way Diavolo keeps failing to get the arrow) is an asspull
And in the end is right
>animeonly
>speedwatching
girono becomes bossu cause GER is even more bullshit than KC
Posting best boy.
GER acts independent from Giorno.
based Fugo poster
can't wait for the one hour Purple Haze Feedback special
it's the biggest asspull in all of JoJo if you ask me, which is really saying something
>Any asspull being bigger than Jotaro timestop
Jotaro's time stop is actually cool and is used beyond one fight at least
>pic
unironically the plot of jojo
there are zero reasons to read the manga when you have an anime that is superior in every aspect
Jotaro's time-stop isn't a trump card. He doesn't even use it to win.
I'm gonna miss him bros...
Emporio
I'm gonna miss his angry goofy face.
He will never die.
He will always die
Reading Manga is easier for me because I can do it at my job. I don't have dozens of hours to waste at home watching anime.
GER stands for Catholicism, and Catholicism is fucked up.
Giorno, despite controlling GER doesn't really have full control over it since at times when Giorno isn't able to do anything GER will act on its own.
However now that I think of it, Diavolo really got fucked over, especially since his crimes weren't that big compared to other antagonists:
>Dio - made one guy's life shit for years and then tried to take over the world, killing hundreds of people
>Survives
>Kars - Genocided his own species, attempted to rule the world and enslave all humans
>Thrown into space, there's a chance for him to eventually land on some other planet years from now
>Dio again - killed even more people and attempted to take over the world again
>Just dies
>Kira - Serial killer
>Apparently thrown into literal hell, the next time we see him he doesn't remember anything about his life so we don't really know what happend to him in that ghost realm
>Diavolo - Ran a Mafia, pretty much affects no people who don't care about drugs or mafia
>Just fucking suffers for literal eternity
>Pucci - attempted to reset the world and show everyone that free will is a myth and you're bound to your fate no matter what, arguably good intentions even if little fucked up
>Literally erased out of existance at any point in time
I feel like Kars and Dio, despite doing the worst shit got the least fucked up fate. Everyone else was small time compared to them and yet they had to suffer or literally be delated.
>Thrown into space, there's a chance for him to eventually land on some other planet years from now
Not our problem.
Worst part.
>implying ambulance-kun is an asspull
Just the reaper coming to collect.
>Survives
Dio is fucking dust.
ok Doppio
The anime finally ended? did the entire stone thing aftermath happened or not
There are still 2 episodes left.
So next episode is going to end the story and the last one will probably be Rolling Stones.
Kars is literally forever flying alone in total darkness and eventually stops thinking.
Is he really 89, though?
Diavolo was responsible for the arrows, and also had Italy under his reign of terror.
There's one episode left, and it's an hour long special that will air at the end of the month.
Anime is on a three weeks hiatus and will then air its last two episodes as a 1 hour special
He can't interact with the world normally, he can only do things that were fated to happen. Other than that he can only remove himself from situations not affect them.
But if he's fated to kill someone, cut off their hand, or splash blood on their face, he can still do those actions and still use time skip to get himself an advantageous position.
Is the anime nearly done? I've not really been enjoying JoJo after Stardust Crusaders, at least not enough to keep invested when watching weekly...but I can probably enjoy it if I watch it all in one go.
I mean is this series nearly done.
>>Diavolo - Ran a Mafia, pretty much affects no people who don't care about drugs or mafia
I don't think you know what crime organizations do. Pretty sure Diavolo was involved with shit like human trafficking and political assassinations
Theres still two complete parts and an ongoing one to be animated after this.
>not mista
He cannot interact with the world normally but if something he were going to do was going to happen in the time skip then it still occurs meanwhile he can fuck off and do what he wants instead. So it's like the world in terms of his ability to exist outside of time and move to a different location in that period but it's almost like there's a version of him that's on auto pilot (just like how everyone else is sort of on auto pilot during the skips) when he does so.
Kars is pic related except a little less worse.
>not Bucciarati
No way, it'll be at least a year before part 6 comes out, almost certainly more. Then there's still 7 which is another year or more of waiting then a year of airing. There's probably at least 4 years till they even get to part 8 and by the time they do it will possibly be finished as well. As long as they want to keep making this series and as long as it's profitable, they will keep doing it for at least 5-6 more years.
It's almost over but part 5 ends with a prologue to the part. So there's another episode till the story is over then a few more episodes that give the part some context.
Yeah I mean part 5. Thanks.
Jojo is the most intelligent shounen ever written. Can you name a better shounen than this? The answer is no, you can't. The fight scenes are so much better than any other shounen fights. These fight scenes are written with brain and intelligence. They're very original fight scenes and don't follow a traditional fight scene formula in any way. Dragon Ball can go fuck itself. Also, the JoJo fanbase are some of the nicest and most intelligent people you will meet on the internet. We just want to have fun and share our fun little memes. I want to marry Araki, but that's muda for me unfortunately. Also, I like gay guys.
you sound like a broken record right noow
>explicitly stated that whoever got the arrow will win
>a shit ton of things happen as they try to get the arrow to win
>Giorno gets the arrow
>wins
>hurr durr this is an ass pull
Cioccolata is still the most evil Jojo character
>What the fuck is wrong with Giorno?
He's DIO's son, for starters, something that people tend to forget.
Giorno is fucking brutal to his enemies, actively lies and cheats to win and goes for the kill.
He's basically a more tame DIO but without gloating.
>you thought this was a Yea Forums thread but it was an Yea Forums thread
Pucci also killed a number of people
He defied Fate. That's literally the ultimate sin in JoJo.
>.but I can probably enjoy it if I watch it all in one go.
yeah I felt the same way.
What volume is the BD release at now?
I was thinking to myself the other day about JoJo and thinking how I could explain King Crimson to a normie, so here's the simplest breakdown I have for you:
1. He can see 10 seconds into the future
2. He can jump to any point within those 10 seconds, sometimes he only needs to move forward a little bit (bullets travel fast so they take less time to dodge), sometimes a lot, so he'll jump to second #7 or #8
3. While he's jumping time, only he can change the course of events happening in the world, everything else continues on the same path it was on when he initiated his ability.
So the way people explain kc and ger gets summed up into KC erases the cause, and leaves only the effect, and ger erases the effect, and leaves only the cause (when we see the leaves reattach to the tree, the effect that's erased is the leaf falling to the ground, and it goes back to the cause which is the leaf detaching from the branch)
in part 6 the universe is reset at the end lol animefag, everyone dies
Except he didn't, Diavolo literally followed the Fate to the fullest, he never doubted any of Epitaph's predictions because of his sheer faith in Fate.
It's Giorno that defied Fate by not making Epitaph's prediction come true.
We saw previously that Diavolo CAN'T dodge damage that's preordained to him by Fate, like during Metallica fight.
Doppio just misinterpreted it, but he was fated to get severely fucked up and he took it like a man because of his sheer faith in Fate.
>that #3
Wrong, he can't change course of events in the world. He places himself outside fate, while everybody else is on mindless autopilot doing the same actions they would have done anyway. He can do this to accomplish other things while also doing things he's fated to do (ex. He is fated to kick someone in the crotch then knock them over a table. He activates his ability to timeskip and keeps walking past the guy as images of him being crotchkicked and being knocked over the table play out. When the effect ends Diavolo is a distance away from the man, who is now in a lot of pain and with a table over him, without having lifted a single finger himself.)
>Time stop
>Not the entire finale of part 2, starting with “O MY STONE MASK THAT I KEPT MY PERSON AND CONVENIENTLY DIDN’T GET DAMAGED I AS WAS GETTING BLOWN THE FUCK OUT
I love part 2, but it was positively ripe with asspulls
Thing is, Part 2 established in the very beginning that it will be all about asspulls.
>playing 7th stand for the first time
>fight with polnareff, have abdul do fight 1
>first attempt get him into a stunlock while constantly setting him on fire
>die like a retard because i forgot to change tactics against fight 2 and i went in solo
>every other attempt i can't fucking beat fight 1 polnareff anymore
>constantly missing even when he's not evading, red bind doesn't fucking work anymore, now using his strongest attack far more often
how fucking lucky was i the first attempt jesus christ
>Thrown into space, there's a chance for him to eventually land on some other planet years from now
Go read Jorge Joestar.
Diavolo...
>beat his own mother to near death and stitched her mouth up, then buried her alive under a church
>butchered the man that raised him
>burned down an entire village, killing everyone within
>began a crime organization and sold drugs and hitmen services on the streets
>captured two traitors, butchered one of them alive in front of his partner/lover and proceeded to mail individual pieces of him back to the organization that he worked for
>tried to murder his own daughter and nearly did
>killed a random fortune teller
>fucking drank the blood of a young boy, stripped him naked, then stitched his mouth closed and tossed him behind a rock so he could use his clothes to kill another traitor
>hires and pays a sadistic doctor who records videos of people writhing in pain and dying
>reveals himself to the gang and intends to kill literally anybody who sees him
Part 2 is nothing but asspulls. You should have seen that coming the moment Joseph pulled out his Tommy gun.
Then why does Bruno punch himself under the cathedral?
Pucci got exactly what he deserved, a fate with zero deviation whatsoever.
His “heaven” is nonexistence
When do we get to Jojo's daughter? I need to blacked her.
Why is Araki so obsessed with Fate and brutally murdering dogs?
No.
Jonathan defeating Kars was the biggest asspull that shadows all asspulls in Jojo that I hardly even acknowledge other asspulls.
>Jonathan
nigger
you mean joseph
After you buy the bluray collection of part 5
Diavolo gave Bruno Epitaph. What happened was he punched the pillar, unzipped it, saw no one there, then moved around it to look from the other side. Bruno, seeing the future as he punched without realizing it, saw his future self looking back in his direction from behind the pillar. Then as Epitaph effects went away, past Bruno faded and present Bruno remained. Easy enough to understand, right?
Shit, yes. Sorry.
It was to illustrate that time no longer exists, only the results. He was facing the direction he was originally at the end of the skipped time because he went around the pillar in confusion so for a split second it was like he was looking at himself.
Diavolo is the sexiest woman in JoJo
for me, it's part 6 diavolo
David Production are saints for faithfully adapting Araki's absolute fucking nonsense
Kars is fucking stuck in eternal prison and isolated from everyone forever, its even said that he lost hid goddamn mind in there
Why even bother having defined stand powers when everyone has bullshit like this
Half the Stand powers are already bullshit without that extra helping of bullshit
To be """fair""" though that pic related is more of a case of Araki just changing his mind about the attack reflection and never bringing it up again after the beginning of the part
wait until use pucci's stand, made in heaven, in part 6.
All of part 5 is about fate, it was the gang's fate to be brought up with shitty lives yet all of them (except fugo lol) challenge that fate by making something of themselves during the story
The boss considers himself 'king' and has the ability to control and determine fate by setting up events and cutting out those he dislikes. He thinks the arrow is rightfully his by fate ("think about who's truly worthy") and acquires it about 3 different times only to have it not work or get it ripped away from him
Giorno defies fate to get the arrow and gets a manifestation of that in the form of a stand that completely breaks Diavolo's power and talks about how he will never arrive at his fated reality or whatever the fuck
so no, not entirely
plus the arrow's stand and the ability it bestows to beat the boss was explicitly stated before they even started pursuing it
I tried reading part 6 again and holy fuck it's an absolute shitshow at the beginning
how does DP even think about adapting that?
