The ones i really like? I suck at all of them but Street fighter alpha 2/3, USF4, Tekken Tag 2, MOTW, virtua fighter 4 evo (and 5 i guess? never really got to play it aside from Yakuza 6), and probably a few others. Aesthetically pleasing ones like Waku Waku 7 are a plus even if they're not really good games.

I'm a girl. My older brother played the NES and then migrated to PC for Doom and Quake when I was a toddler so I grew up with videogames. I guess Dad figured it'd be cheaper than hiring a babysitter as it kept us in a single room and all he had to do was poke his head in to see if we were alive and not squabbling over whose turn it was to use the TV.
My brother had me play co-op when he found a difficult part in something that had a life system with Super Mario Bros or allowed players to drop in like Halo did. Otherwise he'd refuse to play with me and would often steal my games to beat himself. If I dared to touch one of "his" games he'd throw a fit.
We had pretty much every system growing up from the NES to the GC, Sega Genesis to Dreamcast, Playstation 1 to Playstation 3, and the XBOX and 360. To my surprise although we fought over the Nomad and Gamegear on trips he never bothered with my PSP unless there was an NIS title.
I loved Metroidvanias and RPGs but lately I've been getting into CRPGs and Stealth games. Action-Adventures and 3D Platformers were mutual interests.
Like for example: He played Oddworld and Myst, I played Half Life and Dungeon Keeper 2. He played Catherine and God of War, I played Graffiti Kingdom and .hack//IMOQ. He played Metroid Prime and Sly Cooper, I played Phoenix Wright and 999 Hours Persons Doors. We fought over who got to play The World Ends With You, Katamari, Soul Calibur, and Okami.
Now that he's no longer living in the same house I have the freedom to play modern systems without him throwing a bitchfit but I still default to PC as its cheaper.

That all being said when I see "gamer girls" I cringe because they tend to go "oh look I love games give me money so I can pose sexually while I play and constantly fuck up the game". You don't love games. You love money. You're a cam whore with games as window dressing. Fuck off.
