Honestly they should've made the main antagonist the graveyard boss and have the story all lead up to facing her. It would've been way more emotional and cool. As is, Johnathan feels aimless and so do other characters such as the Ascalon Sheriff who just shows up, menaces you and then literally the next time you see him you just fucking off him with no explanation. Never gets brought up again.
The game has a beautiful atmosphere, great music and visuals especially considering its only a AA-game. The choosing who to feed on is also neat though with room for improvement. But while the story can be good its usually too disjointed and the gameplay can become tedious with the constantly respawining enemies, reminds of Far Cry 2.
Also this lady was cute but really could've been developed more.
