Honestly its fucking hard to pick between REmake and 4. Depending on the day I would rather play one or the other, but as of late, I've started to like 4 a bit more. REmake is almost the perfect remake of RE1, but the gore being toned now and the new VA really keeps it away from perfection.

Remake Jill is my fav. Original re1 Jill was cool as well. I liked how she invoked this horror story vibe even with the bad lines her VA was given. Second is Leon. Too bad his character is probably the most inconsistent in the entire series.
Would've been nice to play remake on the gamecube for its original lighting. It looks way better than the pc versions
