This isn't a good way to learn the language. You'll pick up lots of show-specific dialogue, anime characters often talk straight up chuuni so you'll develop bad habits for what is "standard", it's just all around not a great idea.

Anime is a good study material but it's not really a good mining source. Sentence mining also has issues of its own, you can wind up associating uncommon words with either the sentence itself, or the fucking picture if you're dumb enough to put it on the front of the card. This is why everyone sane recommends vocab cards rather than sentence cards.

You can use sentence cards, but it's way more work if you want to watch something someone else hasn't ripped for you.

Starting off with kid shit is a waste of time. You aren't a child, it'll just bore you. You need stuff that's easy, but still engaging for adults.

Different strokes for different folks. Claire and this had big resolutions with good art and lots of customization that actually reflects in the scenes. Not every day you find that shit.

I love watching EOPs beg for absolutely absurd things. I can understand thinking you'll get a doujin page translated or something if you ask enough. Hell, if you're lucky maybe you'll find someone who will waste an hour to do the whole thing because they like the material.

But nobody is going to translate a fucking game for you.

That's par for the course. A lot of people say they'll translate, then they post images of the intro getting translated and then disappear because they're actually not that into the fetish stuff they're translating or they can't time manage well enough. But the more translator we recruit, the higher the chances of something actually getting translated.

I never got why people recommended Clymenia titles since Acerola legitimately does everything clymenia does in their games but better in every way.

Clymenia titles have problems of their own, but they're still a million times better than anything Acerola has ever put out. Maybe you've just been reading garbage re-writes.

I'm not saying either are garbage, but you can play something like Salvation from Clymenia, and scene and content wise you have a similar experience to Acerola titles but with they have customization for CGS, scene variations based on arousal level and all kinds of stuff.

Salvation is easily Clymenia's worst title, the focus on multiple protagonists just left the game feeling weak.

I honestly can't imagine how you could think the content is even close, though. They're completely different devs.

I just checked dlsite tags on titles for acerola and clymenia and they line up pretty well man, so I don't think I'm completely talking out my ass.

I exaggerated in my first post and that's my bad, but their content isn't exactly polar opposite man, having completely different devs doesn't change that. It's almost always magic, corruption and exposure

Similar themes don't mean similar content. The way in which they're explored is completely different.
