Tell me a character you'd like to see in Smash, despite you personally having little to no experience with their games.
I'll start: Ryu Hayabusa. I've barely ever touched a Ninja Gaiden game, but I've seen the GCCX episodes, and I know the original series is in a similar spot as Castlevania and Mega Man in terms of being well-regarded third-party NES mainstays. Plus, the more recent games being so action-heavy leaves me pretty damn certain that a good moveset could be put together for him.
Mike Jones because it would mean a new (old) IP coming soon.

Leon from Resident Evil. I've never really dived into a RE game, but Leon seems like a badass character.
I might get 4 on Switch, but it's a maybe. I really want to play REmake 2.

MC would be interesting, having a beam sword, punches, and guns. he's not getting in since Banjo is a M$ rep and Crash is more popular in japan and my most wanted anyway.
Shantae. I don't know her outside of watching her games, and discussion on Yea Forums about her getting into Smash. She looks cool enough and seems like she would really fit into the game. I'd be happy to have her and give her a try.
Doom Slayer is another one for me, actually. I personally can't stand FPSs, but I recognize how big they are for gaming in general, and I recognize how important Doom in particular is/was for the genre, so hey, if the character can be made to work in Smash, I respect it.

Agreed. We've had the Who's Who of 2D mascot platformers since Brawl (Mario, Sonic, DK), and now with Mario, DK and fucking Banjo-Kazooie in Ultimate, we're well on the way to having the Who's Who of early 3D mascot platformers, too.
Reimu (or whoever the hell that Touhou character is) I feel like it would be an interesting and unique choice that would make a lot of people happy.
Also I would love a Bravely Default character to get in, I've never touched the games but I've listened to the soundtrack a few times and LOVE it.
