Thoughts?
Mad Max - The game
mediocre batman-like, but you can see the wasted potential poke through on certain occasions
Solid 7/10. Combat is nothing unique, but it's decent. Car stuff I thought was overrated, but serviceable. The story's fine, world is interesting (for being a fucking desert). I somehow put around 40 hours into it and don't have any memorable experiences from it, but enjoyed my time playing it.
I thought it was pretty fun. Car combat was cool, I personally enjoy Arkham combat even if it was nothing special, the buildup for each settlement was neat. World design is impressive for how empty it probably should be. I had a fun time with it. It was simple and enjoyable. A bit rough in parts, but got the job done.
I give it a solid B, maybe B+ if the setting's to your taste.
empty brown sand: the game
Pretty much everything . It's not a bad game by any means, but it's not amazing either. It's a solid game, and for $5 you could absolutely do worse.
on foot sections sucked ass, driving was fun but grinding for upgrades was boring as shit thanks to the ubisoft-tier open world level design.
MEDIOCRE
It's literally the most solid 7/10 game to ever be made. That's not a bad thing either. I payed 3 Bong currency for it and got 20 enjoyable hours out of it.
The game would be pretty good if every mission had the same structure as the airport quest instead of backtracking shit
The batman combat is shit buy at least they tried to not be braindead
Is it so repetitive as many reviews say? The "boredom factor" is what dissuade me the most from buying it.
Quite boring, the epitome of mediocrity.
The only people that convinced themselves they liked it got it for next to nothing and were expecting dogshit out of it.
soulless open world game #10.000.000
Game was an absolute surprise, extremely fun
I'd give it 8/10 if you're into collecting shit
Alright game, just stopped playing it after about 10 hours though
This. But I still had fun with it.
Not big on replays. Shame.
Atmospheric as fuck, but vehicular combat feels like it's more stilted than it needs to be, and the on foot sections tend to get repetitive very quickly.
Tedious open world bullshit, basically assassin creed, combat suck ass
8/10 is the best I can do, spent next to nothing but it's my time I want back, not my money.
Six for fuck sake what the fuck.
The core combat is fun. Wish they'd done more with the convoy stuff because that shit was the best part of the game.
7/10 a game definitely worth buying on sale
It shoulda' been Gibson as main character. Ol' man GIbson just running around the desert doing glorious punching crunch smash violent stuff and narrating shit....
I want to clarify this by saying that although I had fun with it there was definitely a lot of untapped potential.
Based
Was actually pretty good if you like just grinding away side activity icon on a big map to waste time with. Story was pretty shit but the missions themselves were alright.
I was pretty upset with just how dead the map is after you do the convoys and take over the bases. For all the upgrading you do to your vehicle or Max himself, you have fucking nothing to use it on after a point.
You get to run around post-game but since I already completed everything there was absolutely nothing to do or reason to play it further, and at the time I really wanted to keep playing a bit longer.
I kept imagining the game but with the Nemesis system from Mordor/War but it changing the car or drivers or taking back outposts, wish that happened.
Can be pretty grindy at times, especially since some missions require you to do the optional tasks.
The combat is better than Bamham mostly because you need to be close to your target opposed to the Arkham games where Batman will suddenly jump to the target no matter the distance
>better than batman
Nigga put on a trip so I can filter you. I don't want to mistakenly digest any of your shit awful opinions or suggestions moving froward.
yikes rude
It had really good sound, visuals and vehicular combat and that's it.
The missions are easy as fuck and the giant bucketlist that you need to fill rewards you with a really cool upgrade to your engine that's absolutely not used for anything at all, this gives me the impression that the game was prematurely pushed out the door and it sucks but it's good for a single playthrough at least, especially if you liked fury road.
I thought you meant a 6 which is why you put an 8
Since you said you meant 6 that means the game is a -1000/1000000
I thought it was pretty fun
I came on strong, I'm sorry, but Max's combat is literally the warm diet soda version of Arkham.
I always make a face when I look at this game. It could have been a lot better in many departments, but instead it just came out as a forgettable open world tie-in.
Very good screenshot simulator.
>avalanche studios
never trust them.
>just cause
>mad max
>rage 2
all of them are open worlds full as fuck of shit missions with decent gameplay, everything else is boring and forgettable, worth only if you just do the main story and for 5 €
