>Dispensers now give overheal to teammates
I just fixed TF2.
Dispensers now give overheal to teammates
I'd rather they just get their extended range like in MvM.
Name one thing bad about turning Engie into TF2's Lucio.
You didn't fix anything, you ruined it.
That would make engie nests ever more of a annoyance
Engi nests can be taken out by most of the power classes in the game fairly easily if you sacrifice yourself in the process.
only time nests are actually annoying is if there are more than 2 or 3
engie is pretty weak against non shit tier players
Maybe if they made an item that replaced a wrench that would make sense, or pistol. It would have to come at some kind of cost. The overheal shouldn't be as good or better than the Medics overheal.
max 25 over heal anything beyond that would be hell to deal with
and only level 3 dispenser can overheal
or give it level 4 and thats how it can overheal
I think that's fine.
I just don't want to see TF2 become Overwatch where every class has their own self heal and armor and shit. It's dumb as fuck.
>revert changes to YER, caber, blutsauger, quickiebomb, and fists of steel
>Scorch shot only ignites enemies on direct hit, splash damage from second "burst" causes no afterburn but still mini-crits burning enemies
>Heavy gains a backpack secondary similar to soldiers banners. Heavy banner is charged by taking and dealing damage near teammates, when fully charged can be activated to give damage and crit resist to nearby teammates similar to Battalions Backup but slightly weaker
>wrangler now forms a 180 degree shield in front of sentry gun instead of entirely around the gun leaving it vulnerable to shots from behind/splash damage hitting the ground near it
>sandman and wrap assassin balls mark enemy for death on top of their previous effects
>one or more flamethrowers should be updated with a secondary airblast that is toggled similar to vaccinator damage resist. "regular" airblast functions as normal and pushed things away. Toggled airblast pulls them closer. useless for rockets/pipes but makes the pyro more of a threat at extremely close range
>vaccinator removed from the game
I could agree to this.
just give every character a dash, lol
Nice.
most of these are neat but turning the flame thrower into a vacuum cleaner seems weird
Overheal dispensers would be like going overnight hiking.
You best bring a tent because you're for sure camping!
Holy shit the anti aliasing on this image is god like, what settings did you use OP

This is why it's so important to make Engi a viable healing alternative to Medic. Forcing a team to have someone play a class which many find boring isn't the best game design, and yes, it's a force because if your opponent has a med and you don't, you will lose. By making Dispensers fill that role, you not only cut down on the frustration of a lack of medics and pocket medic gfs not healing you, you make Engineer a more viable support pick. I think nerfing Engineer's sentry gun slightly would balance out this change well enough. I think a nerf to the Wrangler might even be enough.

Pyro is in a shit spot right now even after jungle inferno. It's such a mostly braindead class that any time it receives interesting buffs (dragons fury, jetpack, afterburn changes, etc.) it makes the class unfun to play against and people bitch.
The only way to balance the class is to do damage control. 99% of the asshurt related to pyro is due to afterburn being an autistic mechanic to deal with. Even if you're hitting all your shots playing optimally for a lot of players the moment their screen erupts in fire and they see an aimless subnormal IQ retard running at them holding down the "incinerate enemy" button you lose your cool, panic, and start missing. I think 99% of kills I get as pyro are due to the enemy not realizing what's happening, entering panic mode, or not being able to see me past the flame particles. Skillshot weapons like the dragons fury should have helped with this but autistic TF2 redditors don't like getting melted down in 3 seconds by pyro so they bitched at valve until it got nerfed into disuse. Turning the flamethrower into a vacuum cleaner at least mixes up what pyro can do. Brainless chip damage weapons like the scorch shot need to be nerfed to the ground and skillshot weapons like the dragons fury need to be buffed to make pyro less of a knuckle dragger class
No. Having medic be so impactful is part of what makes playing the class and tf2 fun.
OW is terrible game and we shouldn't try to mimic it
what "problem" were you addressing?
No one wants to be a heal slut
i will admit it's annoying playing against 4 pyros using the flare guns
