Wireless guitars are good but the ps2 ones suck cause you need the connectors that connect to the console. I find guitar controllers all the time at thrifts but good luck finding one of the dongles

it was a wired guitar. i did get a wired PS2 guitar months ago at goodwill that cleaned up fine and i played GH1 for the first time with it. i started with GH3 for wii so i never played the older ones, i'll play 2 or 80s soon.

I play Guitar hero on ps2 mostly, for these reasons:
-wired guitars that don't require batteries or dongles and are pretty common
-all mainline guitar hero games ever released (except for Warriors of Rock and Live) are on the ps2. including all the band-themed games (aerosmith, van halen etc)
That and the games are super fucking cheap

I actually downloaded clone hero recently, its been nice getting back into things

I used to be able to beat black widow of la porte with 91% notes hit

I warmed up and got to 79% last night so I guess I got some practicing to do before I can get back to how good I used to be

I made the mistake of buying it on PS4 and the latency with the stratocaster is atrocious.

What's considered the best controller for Clone Hero anyway? Been wanting to try it but I had to sell my old GH2 controller when I was in turbo-poorfag mode.

If anybody still has a guitar there's an extremely well made clone of guitar hero for PC and tons of charts for it, it's called Clone Hero

I think you can use pretty much any one even rock band ones. I have a like 10 dollar wireless adapter I bought so I just use the wireless Xbox controller that came with guitar hero warriors of rock

I also have the ps4 version and I guess I got used to it over the years cuz I've had it since day 1.the game sucked ass until like 2018 though haha.
