JoJo is the most intelligent shounen ever written. Can you name a better shounen than this? The answer is no, you can't. The fight scenes are so much better than any other shounen fights. These fight scenes are written with brain and intelligence. They're very original fight scenes and don't follow a traditional fight scene formula in any way. Dragon Ball can go fuck itself. Also, the JoJo fanbase are some of the nicest and most intelligent people you will meet on the internet. We just want to have fun and share our fun little memes. Ehh, I've always at least given it the credit for having some of the better fights in the series so it makes sense that as an anime it's a nice watch, but it's all style no substance.
The actual plot is pretty weak and the hype moments are what carry the whole part.
As a manga these flaws are just easier to see, especially with a poor translation.

The only not-trash characters are Pucci, Hermes and Rikiel, stands fights are trash, Jotaro is the biggest jobber and had no reason to not have a plan against Pucci's knives when he already had a plan against them the first time for Dio when he was still inexperienced with Star Platinum, Jolyne is entirely defined by her actions and has nothing outside them, most of the content is weird for the sake of being weird instead of the weirdness (Jumping Jack Flash tying his shoelaces around his feet instead of wearing his shoes, Rikiel's cow suit), being the result of the actions occuring like the other parts, the entire plan for the 36 sinners the green baby and the location for Made in Heaven has no logic behind it, Pucci's idea of happiness is retarded because it completely deletes motivation from your actions which would just make everyone depressed even if they knew their fate, and Weather Report is just Giorno for contrarians because he has the same void of personality, the same undefined broken abilities (what's the range on his tornado summon, btw?) but it's even worse because his design is retarded with a cow hat. Fuck part 6 and fuck those who think it's good. They're people who only care about jojo for the memes.
