Let's make the ultimate list of GOOD movie-based games
Tyler Brown
Cooper Nelson
Alien: Isolation
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.
Grayson King
coulda been a movie
Ryder Moore
Did some YouTuber make a video or some shit on it or why is Toy Story 2 being posted so fucking frequently recently?
Easton Green
could be but it's legit great, i played it when it was new as a kid, rented it multiple times and went for 100%, i enjoyed it as much as crash or ape escape
William Evans
Aaron Lee
robots for gba was a 10/10
Gavin White
Monsters Inc. for the PSone
David White
this had 3 games in one
die hard- third person arcade shootemup
dh2 - konami green lightgun game, i had the lightgun and it was fun
dh3- crazy taxi style driving through the city with a timer
Jace Wood
Possibly people playing Toy Story vidya because 4 has none. TS1 has a solid SNES platformer, TS2 has a very good 3D platformer, TS3 has another 3D platformer with a big toybox mode that was hyped up and I heard was quite good. 4 has nothing.
Connor Wood
also A Bug's Life was fun.
Kayden Walker
Grayson Stewart
Toy Story 4 was released a couple of weeks back.
Oliver Jenkins
mickey's wild adventure, hard as shit but fun
Zachary Nelson
Hercules on PS1 was also great, as were the 16-bit Aladdin games.
>No Mulan game was ever made
What the FUCK
Gabriel Morales
How has no one said Spiderman 2, best web swinging mechanics of any of the spider games
Hudson Parker
Jaxson Perry
bugs life was hard as fuck for me as a kid. we didnt have a ps1 memory card for a few years so i could always get to the level where you glide on flowers and then get a game over
Jaxson Rodriguez
Reminder.
youtube.com
Adam Nelson
King Kong
Brody Sanchez
Thomas Barnes
Bugs Bunny Lost in Time
Juan Torres
notice how there's so many ps1 games.. something about that era where they actually had competent devs making licensed games
Aiden Lee
FLIPENDO.
Ryan Sanders
Adrian Mitchell
these games had so many movie references they have to count
Levi Brooks
This game is really fucking good. The Jack sections are so much fun, and I always hated playing Kong sections because I just wanted to get back to the Jack bits. My dream is either a remaster or new game in the exact same setting with more in depth controls, more survival elements and a wider variety of weapons. The creatures were all unique, frightening in their own ways and fun to fight.
Jonathan Hall
Elijah Perez
I liked Aladdin and The Lion King despite the difficulty.
Anthony Cruz
Colton Mitchell
Any later spider-man topped its gameplay?
Landon Nelson
Christian Williams
Later games had better combat but 2 still has the best swinging
Samuel Gutierrez
More or less BFBB 2
Logan Green
Obligatory.
James Reyes
Levi Price
There was a Mulan game on PC, but I think it was only a point-and-click.
Adrian Stewart
Spiderman 2 sucks ass actually, people only remember the webswinging for a reason
Spiderman ps4 is based as fuck and the sequel is gonna be even better
Eli Murphy
Josiah Howard
Colton Flores
this game sucked but i'm posting it anyway cause it was fun
James Hughes
Why don't you play it and find out faggot. Toy Story 2 is a great game. Tons of things to do. Lots of levels with great design. Great Soundtrack. Story with movie cutscenes that follow the plot nicely. It had everything.
Jordan Rodriguez
Is it possible to run this on Win10?
Samuel Morgan
Pure kino
Brandon Ortiz
haven't tried myself but download toy story 2 fix
>pcgamingwiki.com
or just emulate the ps1 version, it's practically identical
Jonathan Sullivan
Web of Shadows has the best swinging in terms of control and fluidity. SM2 just has no moonswinging.
Nicholas Nelson
wtf there is a pc version are you serious i never knew
Nolan Adams
MY NIGGA
Kayden Rodriguez
>pizza delivery simulator
Nolan Reyes
most of the 5th gen Disney platformers got a PC port, some 4th gen stuff too like the sega version of Alladin, the jungle book, lion king etc.
I know this because I played them all on PC back in the day on a keyboard
Jason Sanchez
Man, I must have rented this shit from Blockbuster five fucking times
David Rodriguez
i loved this game on n64, the playstation version seems off
Lincoln White
Never even implied it's a bad game, you seething faggot. Only witnessing it popping up moreso lately and stuff like that always happens when some e-celeb youtuber makes a video on a classic game, it gets all you retards out of the closet pretending like you always loved that game.
Brody Turner
great game user
played this on a laptop while my older brother played Viper Racing on the desktop in the same room
good times
Grayson Martinez
the best
Kayden Gomez
Nolan Phillips
>best web swinging mechanics of any of the spider games
Ultimate was better.
aged better at least, the ps4 one is up there.
Evan Brown
web of shadows came close.
Asher Hall
the n64 version runs well on project64
Jordan Hill
it's not just lately, toy story 2 always pops up in these kinds of threads

I was convinced this was a real movie as a kid, and made my mom ring up video stores to see if they had it. I didn't even believe them when they said it didn't exist
Thomas Wright
web of kino
Connor Gray
Joshua Collins
Hell yeah
Ryder Moore
>Ctrl+F
>no Punisher
>no Scarface
bruh
Justin Reed
Toy Story 2 got a blooper scene removed cause of #MehToo whales
Jaxson Reyes
super shag
Cooper Garcia
>shit graphics
>unrecognizable levels
>no shader mods
>generic platforming trash
Jeremiah Cox
My sons from other buns
Jeremiah Walker
My Nigga. Kino as fuck game.
Tyler Hill
Is this the best example of a game that is much better than the movie it is based on?
Movie was just ok but this shit was so much fun, lunge attack is one of the coolest moves in any videogame, ever.
Jordan Watson
>A Bug's Life
it was soul, kino, and based all in one
Christopher White
Does pinball count as a game for this thread? Just dreamed about this pin a couple nights ago.
youtube.com
Jordan Myers
all the lego games
Henry Anderson
That notBanjo-Kazooie/notRayman Emperor's New Groove PS1 game.
Chase Johnson
Was looking for this.
So terrifying, so great.
Hudson Cooper
based and red pilled
Luis Kelly
Actual 9/10 game. I might have to pick up an original Xbox and play it again.
Lucas Cooper
>this many ps1 games
Cameron Long
My guys. I had an irrational fear of the underwater levels but I still enjoyed that game. Funny, I always think it's Jak and Daxter that gave me my fear of deep, dark waters, but I now realize it was Atlantic.
Robert Jones
Anyone?
Caleb Anderson
Fuck, I remember playing that in school. Didn't you have to collect batteries or something?
Christopher Price
No, it was because it was easier and cheaper to develop licensed games back there.
Levi Lee
the RC level still haunts me
you had to be fucking perfect
Ryan Robinson
>reviewed better than the actual movie
Henry Young
>Didn't you have to collect batteries or something?
that's for your health yeah
the things that open new levels (like stars in mario64) were Pizza Planet tokens
Adrian Brown
EP1 Podracing
Hulk Ultimate Destruction if that counts idk there was that shitty Hulk movie made by Fox a few years before.
Logan Martinez
most underrated game ever
Camden Nelson
Only wish this game was more DMC and less DMC-lite.
Also good, Toy Story 2 in particular had no right being as good as it was.
Christopher Davis
Owen Thomas
Anthony Myers
what about Scare Island?
Noah Reyes
My main gripe with this game was that it looked like a russian bootleg you'd find in the flea market, hell they had to put official in the cover probably for that reason
Tyler Baker
What kind of God would let this happen
Owen Myers
Over the Hedge on the DS
It's a stealth game were you must bring an item from houses to the backyard and you have to evade humans animals and traps. Your character gets knocked out in one hit but you can bring two out of three characters with their own abilities to a level and you can switch between them at any time
Asher Powell
What one?
Henry Sullivan
based
Liam Flores
fuck, FUCK, I played all those games.
Ryder Martin
Owen Allen
It wasn't perfect, but as a kid i used to love it. Those fucking burnout levels were the best.
Grayson Edwards
>friend who's obsessed with wrasslin and simpsons both
>he hated this
Mason Rivera
Avatar into the Inferno DS is a fun chibi game
Jacob Wilson
Gavin Adams
>removed
I think censorship is stupid too but it was already released unaltered on Blu-ray years ago, the only people affected by this are whoever's watching it on some shitty streaming service or something. Nothing's been lost.
Jordan Ross
It was either this or the first Rogue Squadron but these were my favorite and first games I ever played on the pc, wouldnt still be playing on the pc without them both are goats
Joseph Foster
Honestly, one of my ultimate dreams is to get this game remade with graphics that rival the actual movie.
It would fucking amazing.
Gameplay was simple but great and very enjoyable also powers up offered replayability in other stages.
It didnt rely purely on the movie, it had its own set of stages and characters, although somewhat generic at times.
Christopher Bell
Aaron Gomez
Good shit
Julian Foster
The Warriors is probably the best movie licensed/tie-in game I have ever played.
Logan Cooper
these games were good gex 2 was peak gex though
Angel Cook
Justin Martin
Played the fuck out of this as a kid
Jeremiah Wilson
Benjamin Powell
Fucking love this game
Carter Phillips
I still replay this sometimes
Easton Anderson
Had no right being that good.
Also that title always makes me laugh.
Lucas Hill
FUCK THIS GAME RIGHT UP THE ASS.
I remember owning this and playing through it and then hitting a wall when I couldn't do anything to progress. The game was really easy up until that point. This game made kid me rage like a motherfucker trying to figure out how to get passed that one level with the NPC who gives out hints mentioning something about "monkeying about" and I never understood what the fuck he was talking about I just stopped playing the game sold it.
Noah Wood
>constantine
Legit spooky game
youtube.com
Caleb Collins
Colton Brooks
IIRC, you start the game as Gandalf in the Battle of Helms Deep, right?
I remember watching the intro cutscene, then it transitions into gameplay but for whatever reason I thought it was still the cutscene, so I just let Gandalf take a beating for a good minute or two, which he didn't die since I guess it was the tutorial, until I suddenly realized I should be playing.
Jose Anderson
Ryder Perry
Action Game for Pepsi.
